Thank's for any opinions. I have already visited Salem but still need some suggestions on food.

:teeth: Thanks :teeth:

I'm a Yale graduate and lived in New Haven for four years. It's a neat city and the Yale campus is gorgeous. If you have time, take a guided tour of Yale. If you do not have time or want something less structured, feel free to wander among the campus courtyards. If you enjoy art, you should definitely check out the Yale Center for British Art, which has the largest British art collection outside of the UK. Admission is free. The Yale University Art Gallery is also highly regarded and is home to several promient paintings depicting the American Revolution and American founding fathers. The Art Gallery charges admission. The link to the Yale Visitor Center is http://www.yale.edu/visitor/

If you will be in New Haven overnight, check to see if there are any plays that you might be interested in seeing at the Yale Rep, Yale School of Drama, or the Shubert Theatre.

New Haven has several great restautants. Wooster Street is home to several Italian restaurants including the famous pizzerias Sally's and Pepe's. For finer Italian dining, try Tony & Lucille's (they have two restaurants on Wooster, one informal, the other a bit nicer). Closer to the Yale campus, I can recommend Bangkok Garden (York off of Chapel) and Yorkside Pizza (York Street off of Elm). Atticus Bookstore Cafe on Chapel across from the Art Gallery is a great place for a snack or light meal.

Have fun!

Sandwich MA

- Daniel Webster Inn's Tavern. A bit pricey but really good lobster roll. It's very quintessential Cape Cod

- Dunbar Tea Shop. I try to stop here at least every few months. It's like going to England but just going to the Cape.

Nantucket
(note: it is very expensive on the island. My brother lives here and when I visit I usually just eat at his place - his future FIL is a part time fisherman).
- The Pearl. Wicked expensive but it is so worth it if you want to try something swanky and hip.

- Black Eyed Susan's. I'm not sure when you're going - this is only open in season. Awesome breakfast.

- Brotherhood of Thieves. If I go out to eat on Nantucket, this is where I usually go. Great burgers, decent seafood, and reasonably priced considering where you are.

Salem
- I like the lobster rolls at the Tavern at the Hawthorne.
- Victoria's Station at Pickering Wharf is good.
- The Grapevine. Never had a bad meal there.
- Bill's roast beef (not sure exact name). Incredibly good sandwiches and fries.

New Haven:

My sister goes out to eat in New Haven periodically when at school. She raves about Hot Tomato

Cambridge
can't say I have ever eaten at a non chain restaurant in Cambridge but if Christine's ice cream is still there I had a great hot fudge sundae.
