We are in the process of making our first purchase through resale. (Very excited, we have been watching for 2 years) We paid the asking price and are waiting for Disney ROFR. I was online today and saw the post with the status of 'sale pending' but I went to show it to someone tonight (yes, pathetic but we are excited) and the post has been completely removed. The store is closed but I am wondering why. Do they typically remove them before acceptance/closing or should I be concerned that the sellers backed out and I am going to be notified tomorrow or Monday?

I would not be worried. I would take it as a good sign. The sale is done!

That's my opinion. I hope it RIGHT! Let us know how it turns out.:thumbsup2

As long as you have a signed contract you should be ok. Just curious... Did you try to make a lower offer before paying asking price???

Nope, it included banked points so we thought it was a fair asking price and we agreed to what they requested. (Not a steal for us, like I have seen some of the people on here talk about, but still good) Thanks, for the positive thoughts. I know if it falls through, something else will come along but we will be so disappointed if doesn't happen.

I asked about this when we tried to buy a contract last month. I was told by TTS that they remove the listing after they receive your deposit.

I tend to agree with this. I think some of the sites show contracts "Sale Pending" until both the buyer and seller have submitted all their paperwork, and at that point remove the listing.

To be sure, I'd call your broker in the morning if they work weekends. They'll be able to tell you.

I would think if there were any bad news, you'd hear about it from the broker first.

That makes sense (the check just went through). Thank you very much, we are relieved to hear that.

I bought through TSS and they had sale pending listed until the check was received for the purchase. Once they had that, it was removed from the site.

You don't mention the broker but that is how it works with them.
