Now for my next question! DVC studio for cash - do I check in at the normal check in or is there a DVC check in that I should use? Or is that only if you're staying on points?

Over the years I have learned when to make it at home and when to leave it to the experts! Monte Cristo from Blue Bayou, worth it! ZDs, I think I'll leave it to the experts!

There is no separate check-in for DVC at Jambo House so you'll go to the resort check-in area. Kidani is a DVC but also only has one check-in area.

You should also be able to do online check-in (points or cash, doesn't matter).

Only one check in at each building...so just hit the (correct) lobby and get in line.

Zebra Domes are a part of the special magic of AKL/V anyway... I think the images of the ZDs just remind me of how much I want to be ~there~ in general.

I haven't been around in what seems like forever! Been busy - and just enjoying the summer!

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer, anyone on trips right now, have fun!! Anyone going soon........... have fun, i'm jealous!!!

I've been working on some NEW DISigns for an autograph book - will post when done - but, I'm excited about it, it's turning out very nice, if I say so myself!

Can't wait to see what you came up with. I am working on my books right now but am so disappointed that Flynn will not be with Rapunzel anymore

Remember the days when each resort had it's own design? I loved those! This one-design-suits-all bit stinks. I want them to bring those back so bad. I'm sure AKL/V would have an awesome design. None of this funky red/yellow or purple/orange bit.

... of course my kitchen cabinet is over run with Disney refillable mugs as it is Water tastes better in them, what can I say

We still have our WL mug from 1996 when we went for our honeymoon

Does anyone have a way to check on Kim? She has not been on the DIS since 6/14.

Hope you won't kick me out of our group When I called DVC to order my ME for this months 1 nighter, a studio opened up at BCV believe it or not, so we switched from Kidani I actually like Kidani better, but since we'll be there less than 48 hrs and we only plan on going to Epcot.
Can't believe a BCV studio was even available, less than 4 weeks notice in the summer!

Hope you won't kick me out of our group When I called DVC to order my ME for this months 1 nighter, a studio opened up at BCV believe it or not, so we switched from Kidani I actually like Kidani better, but since we'll be there less than 48 hrs and we only plan on going to Epcot.
Can't believe a BCV studio was even available, less than 4 weeks notice in the summer!

There are several of us DVCers here who will tell you - ATTA GIRL on getting BCV!!! Let's face it, the location really can't be beat! Enjoy!!! We know you'll get back to Kidani again soon!

Hi Jamborinis! Went camping for a few days and got way behind. I'm going to the New England Cars 2 Meet tomorrow. Have to say I'm a little nervous because I've never met anyone from the DIS before, and haven't really chatted on the boards with anyone who is going. Should be fun though - I need to get over my shy self!

J/K Friends of ours were able to book almost 2 weeks at BWV for July. They have been trying to stay there for years and couldn't believe all the time that was available. Maybe it won't be too when we are there

Being the cook, dishwasher, cat feeder, bill payer, I am "someone". However, I take the trade off that I don't need a day job, most days I can sleep in as late as I want, and if I say "I want to eat at the Chef's Counter at Napa Rose." She tells me to make a reservation.

However, I'll save the Zebra Domes as a treat for when I'm at the Lodge.

Way too much work for me.

Totally! And this is coming from someone who just cooked 20 lbs of chicken, 7 lbs of potato salad, 3 lbs of tortellini salad and the Chinese Chicken salad will be assembled tomorrow before lunch. Thank god for Costco and their Pineapple Upside Down Cakes and cookies. I hope everyone likes lunch because the guy who has done the last couple years of lunches raised the bar by preparing "over the top" food. Anyways, too bad I didn't have energy left to make some ZDs

Hey Leann!! How are you! Long time no see!! DOnt be nervous, have fun and enjoy! Let me tell you, I have met people from the DIS....I wont mention any names..... but it was abt 3 years ago, and I still talk and sometimes travel with them!!!
