It is recital time! I graduated two classes of students this week. :) I only have 21 recitals to get through by June 12th!

Bob has had some very good days and a few that were not as good as the others. Overall, things are going well. He is scheduled to do a barium swallow evaluation at the end of the month so we will have a better idea how things are going on that front. He is getting stronger all the time and can now walk about 60 feet with his walker without assistance! :yay: His physical therapist was discussing when she will discharge him to hospital PT and when he might be able to drive again. I cannot believe all of this. It continues to amaze me that he has accomplished so much in a relatively short period of time; stroke patients need at l;east a year for major recovery so we are on the short end of that part of his life. I know there is still so much left to achieve, but wow!!

Elin, thanks for the update. Bob has really has come a long way.:goodvibes I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers for continued progress.

Wow, what stress! Prayers and pixie dust for everything to work out!

Thanks:hug:

 Sending prayers that everything works out

Thanks!

Good luck again! pixiedust:

Thanks, Robbi:hug:

Ok, here is the update...I officially start my new schedule at work on Monday...They changed my schedule, but I like it better:
Mon-Wed 3pm-11pm Thurs, Fri off, Sat & Sun 7am-3pm.
I think I did well on the test yesterday, but I won't find out until Monday.

For now, the plan is, if we can afford to go on the trip, obviously we will...However, if money is tight we'll cancel some of the ADR's..We'll cancel-Jiko, 50's and Teppan Edo

We'll leave Sanaa, Le Cellier..We'll also leave Via Napoli & OHana, but only because it's with 6 other friends:hug: otherwise we'd cancel those too.

Ideal scenario, everything works out and we go and cancel nothing:thumbsup2

Hi all! I'm new to the Disboards so trying to figure this all out. We've stayed at the Jambo House before but are staying at Kidani for a couple nights at the end of the month. How is Kidani as compared to Jambo? (We really enjoyed Jambo.) We have 2 little boys, 5 and 8. Any advice/suggestions?
Thanks!!!

Here i am again... LOL

My Mum & I have been talking about CL & she wants to know if anyone knows how many standard CL rooms there are at AKL? So she can get a good idea on how hard it will be book.

:)

YAY!! I say that calls for a mini-meet!! ;)

(uh, oh - most of the Smilies aren't working this morning?? The ads at the top of the page aren't working either??)

:thumbsup2 Sounds like a plan.

That is a very good question. I'm sorry I don't know the answer.

When are you planning to visit? That will make a difference in how far ahead you might need to book to get AKL-CL.

Hi everyone! sorry if this has been answered before but there is SO much info here!
We just extended our stay for Nov at GF CL to add a couple of nights at AKL. I am confused as to what view I would get in a standard CL room. I booked a non CL Arusha view as the animals are the most important part of staying here to me.
Would the CL room also have a good animal view? some sources I have read say non savanna view and others say otherwise. I have never been there and need you all to guide me! :flower3:
I actually need 2 rooms for 2 nights (total of 6 adults) and the 2 bedroom suite is too expensive. Any advice on getting the best for the least would be very welcome!!!!!

Sorry.....Have not updated ticker!

Thanks:hug:

If you click on my TR from last year, I was in a CL room, you can see the view and animals that I saw while I was there.

I continue to keep my fingers crossed for you. I am glad that the schedule works for you. I used to work 3pm-11pm for a while and loved it. Unfortunately then they shorted our opening hours and now we are only open until 8:30pm. I am sure you did great in the test.

Afternoon:flower3:

Down one kid today. Like Elin, I dropped one off for dress rehearsal. She will be there for 6 hours:scared1: Thank goodness this is the life she wants;)

I am in full vacation planning mode at the moment. Now that I am back from Dubai, I can concentrate on our vacation to Disneyland and on the Disney Wonder. I have to say I feel slightly like a fish out of water. We have been to Disneyland 3 times previously, but always stayed offsite. This time we are staying at the Villas at Grand Californian. At least it is a sister property to my beloved AKL. I can't remember that staying onsite for the first time at WDW and planning for this was so scary.

Thanks, Wendy:hug: I am awful at posting pics, I never remember how...Are you on Facebook? If you are, PM me, I have a ton of pics there, it's a lot easier to post them there than try to remember how to here:rotfl:
