UPDATE on Kim!!!!!!!!


I found Kim's home number, just got off the phone with her - she is FINE - just been really busy with family and stuff!!! All is good!! She is hoping to be back around here soon.......... when things settle down!! She asked me to just give a quick update that she's good, all is well and she's happy to know she's been missed!!!!

Elin, she specifically asked about Bob and how he was doing, I told her good and she was glad to hear it!!!


So, she's good and appreciates that we are all thinking of her!!!!

Hello everyone Went up to Maine for the weekend and had a great time. The only problem there is no internet connection but at least we have cable now

DD (4) is learning how to swim and yesterday after her lesson - she came up to me and said "Mommy, I can't wait to go swimming with you at Disney World."

That is too cute. The pool at Jambo house is zero entry which is nice for DS3 he loves walking in and out of the pool.

This is great info! I am an early riser - usually by 7 AM. I was thinking I could sit out on the balcony while everyone else still sleeps. I should perhaps save my money. I can just look at the parking lot! LOL

Actually after having stayed at both the pool view and the savanah view, I love the pool view better. There are so many spots to see the animals that I felt it was a waste of my DVC points for the view of the animals.

Good morning, Jamborinis!

I am very excited this morning. Bob and I are planning a trip! Not to WDW, but a small trip, nonetheless.

i have to be in Boston in August on business for a couple of days. Our older daughter lives there, as does my brother and his family. I talked to Bob's doctor and his rehab team and they said he could go! So, our flights are booked! Also have a rental car and the last two night's lodging taken care of thanks to my boss. It is the first two days and night that I am excited about. And this part of the trip is a surprise for Bob!

When we go to Boston we almost always stay in a wonderful B&B in Brookline to be close to our daughter. However, they are booked for the nights we needed so I decided to start looking at something a little different. Since lots of restaurant hopping and general sightseeing will be out of the question I started thinking maybe we could salvage a semblance of our summer beach vacation. There is a lovely place in Gloucester called the Bass Rocks Inn and they have been so helpful in making certain we can stay there comfortably, no matter what Bob needs at that point. So, the plan is to leave the airport and drive to Gloucester and look at this for a couple of days:

Wow that looks so beautiful. We always past the exit for Glouster on our way to Maine and keep saying someday I want to go visit there since it is only an hour drive from my house.

Scott's job interview for promotion @ HD went well..There were 2 other candidates also..Boss said they'd know in a week...Cross your fingers...

They changed my Sunday hours at work from 7-3 to 3-11 and today is the 1st day...I'm not too thrilled w/it at the moment, we've always done stuff together on Sundays and even getting out @ 3 thats no problem..Forget it now Oh well, gotta do whats best for the job.

Random question ...

DH and I had our 2nd anniversary on Valentine's Day this year... but due to some money issues, didn't really celebrate the ann, or VD. After a long talk, and DH had been planning for October (the day we started officially dating,) to celebrate, me, being the typical woman, didnt think of that, and was upset we'd waiting so long, etc... )
Long story semi short, DH finally decided he'd take me out to dinner at DTD (Fulton's), and Ghiradellis (sp) for dessert.

My question is.. it's obviously not our anniversary, would it be improper to tell CM's that that is what we are at Disney to celebrate? And what would you guys suggest maybe to do at AKL, just the two of us? We're planning on spending some time out on the balcony, maybe walking around and using some of the viewing spots, but I don't really have any other ideas, other than that.

People celebrate things all the time so I don't see a problem with it.

On a side note, I'm VERY glad and happy to be a part of the Jamborini's - everyone's concern which is so apparent about our friend, is why I love you guys so much................ the friendships we have here, even though only some of us have ever actually met in person, are real and I appreciate it and all of you - as I know Kim does as well. Let's all pray she's feels our vibes and checks in soon!!!

I know how you feel. When my sister asked me, my first thought was, does that mean that my brother in law will be spending all his time in the room playing video games? lol... he may get away with it, but his kids won't.

I dont remember if you were part of the last AKL IV thread so please forgive me if you were but that picture was because for some reason we slipped past moderation to 362 pages. At the end there were people me included who were trying to be the last post. This pictures was created to commemorate that event.

Ignore the text that was previously here...I just found this on the Kidani FAQ( http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1633854 ):

What model TV's are they and what jacks are easily available?

LG......the TV has a connection break out box with HDMI, VGA and composite inputs, the bed side alarm clock has an ipod dock and an illuminated light, bigger living area...


You SHOULD (depending on the age of the 360) be able to hook up via hdmi.

Now, keep in mind, I've never NOTICED the break out box...but I see posts from people who have, and have used it.
