Sailing the Wonder 3/22/09 Who's with us?

I think DH and I are going to look tomorrow night for our fall cruise date. I can't wait. I see fijidoc and his fam are going 9/3. Is anyone else doing that weekend? I was thinking Oct for Halloween, but I'm not sure when in Oct that the Wonder is in dry-dock. I'll let you know when we book. I agree with Luv2Travel about the FE gifts...it gave me great ideas about next time. I had a few original ideas, but loved everything we got some much that it's already got me thinking about the fall.

Here is the list of blackoutdates for those interested in bounceback cruise:

August 20th
september 3rd and 24th
November 22nd
December 3rd.

Obviously we have to now rethink our cruise date because the 3rd is a blackout. I was afraid it might because it is before labor day. Glad I only booked by cruise as a hold when I did it.

We're hoping to move our dates to October if another 3 night cruise opens up (if the Wonder finishes dry dock early like the Magic did last year). Would you like for me to let you know if we move our dates so you can check availability again?

Are all of the Oct dates gone for the Bounce Back deal? We were hoping to book an Oct cruise after dry dock (the last 2 in Oct), but we can do it until tomorrow b/c DH is working tonight. I'll be really bummed if we can't use the BB deal...it sounds like all of the dates are filling up fast...this really stinks!!

Last I heard I believe both October dates (the 22 & 29) were still good. I'm looking for a cruise that hasn't even been on the schedule yet - October 15. Disney decided last June that the Magic would finish dry dock early and they added a new 3 night cruise. That's what I hope Disney will do this year with the Wonder.

Oh man...I just looked at the thread for our 10/29 cruise and it is so sad...there are a ton of people that have been on for a while and they all know each other. None of you guys are on there and I feel lost. I hope some of you can make it to the 10/29 booking!
I know I'll get to know everyone on that thread like I did this one, but it's just sad.

Hey fijidoc...did you guys ever book you Bounceback dates? If so, what dates did you end up with? Our new cruise thread is already 16 pages and we still have 6 months. There seem to be some really nice people there.

unfortunately it is not looking to good for us on the bounceback cruise.

Only date that worked was the one before labor day weekend and that is a blackout date. With my schedule nothing else works good for us and the kids schedule.

Only other option would be if the ship got out of dry dock early and then opened up cruise for october 15th. Problem is by time they know that our voucher would no longer be any good.

That really stinks. I'm sorry you guys couldn't make it work. Did you ever call DCL back to see if 9/3 was for sure a blackout date after luvs2travel booked 6 rooms for the same cruise w/the BB offer? I wonder if your CM just didn't make a mistake. Hope you all are doing well...give my best to your wife and boys.
