We had lanyards and name tags on a couple of cruises also. That was really nice, but it's a lot of work! The reminder bands are considerably less buying in bulk. I priced 100 with filled letters for $82, 200 with filled letters for $135. My original 10 is $35. Last time I did reminder bands, I mailed them to everyone ahead of time. If most everyone is interested in doing the reminder bands, I will make the bulk order and either mail them or bring them to the ship with me.

Bulk definitely sounds way to go : )

My DH Jason, DS Ethan (3) and I can't wait to enjoy this cruise. I have not been on the forum but plan to participate more in the next few weeks. My husband and I are celebrating love after 14 years of marriage. My son's favorite Disney character is Mickie Mouse. Can't wait to meet everyone!!

Kate. Can't wait to meet you and your family. I can't really say anything about the food allergies. I have heard that DCL is VERY accommadating to food allergies. I would search for a thread or create a new one asking about it. I know some people have experience with that. I've seen threads before discussing it.
Last time we went to St. Thomas, we went to Megan's Bay. It is absolutely gorgeous. We then went shopping. We did this on our own. This time we are going to St. John and booked the snorkeling excursion at Trunk Bay and we also booked the Under the Two Flags Tour at St. Maarten.

We have some food allergies in our family and we have cruised with them before....

Just realized that we are sailing on a very special day!!!!!
it will be ---- 10-11-12--- on our Sea Day !! does anyone else find that cool..

For the new people that have facebook- we also a page there... just let me know if you want to join that too. We just repeat what is said here.. along with questions..Ex(How formal is everyone going to be on formal night))

I also volunteered to Beth that I would help her plan greets and meets.. if anyone wants to meet the day before our cruise..

1. Allen- planned a dinner at Fishlips if you are in Cocoa Beach the night before.
2. If you are spending time at WDW before I could set a meet time.
3. If you are staying at Hyatt at MCO before the bus ride down the next morning..
Just let me know and I can write a list of who is meeting where..


Does anyone want to get together on pirate night at 10:00pm for a group photo?

I could also write up a newsletter with different things on it if anyone is interested and leave it in the FE for you.
I myself would love to know any other Disers that will be at Scrap-booking or wine, champagne , or other tasting, and on my tours I book..

I'm dairy protein, my hubby's MSG, Both kids are nuts with a few other minor allergies... Yeah we're really fun to have over for dinner!

Thank you! We've been to Disney World 5 times as a family this is our first cruise though! Can't wait! I'd love to hear more about Megan's Bay! (Our oldest is named Megan!)

It is the prettiest beach I have ever seen that I have been to. The water is crystal clear where you can see the fish. The sand is white. When we went, we went in the morning so it was not crowded at all. This time we are going to go to Trunk Bay because I would like to see St. John and they say it is as pretty as Megan's Bay otherwise I would definitely be going back to Megan's Bay

The newsletter thing is a cool idea. Someone did a "Navigator" for one of our cruise groups that listed everything we all planned to do as a group while on board. The group picture is a good idea also. It will be difficult to get everyone on one place at any given time for a picture. probably should come up with 2 or 3 alternatives and go with the one the most people can get to or maybe even 2 different times. If you schedule a ships photographer, everyone has to be on time because they won't wait long!!
