Sailing at Castaway Cay

Has anyone sailed at CC? If so, how much was it? And can you take 2 adults and 3 kids?

Not aware of any sailing excursions, there are the catamaran snorkelling adventures where you would all go on or there are boat rentals. Boat Rental

A variety of boats are available to rent on Castaway Cay at Gil's Fins and Boats. Boats are subject to availability; walk-up rental only. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. All prices are for one-half hour rental.
Paddle Boats (2-Seater $8; 4-Seater $10)
Sea Kayak (1-Seater $8; 2-Seater $10)
Aqua Fin $15
Aqua Trike $15
Hobie Cat $18

Adult Price: $8-18 per ½ hour
Child Price: $8-18 per ½ hour (ages 5 and above)

Thanks for the pricing. That is what I meant, to use the sail boats at CC while we are there. Last year they wouldn't let us because DH didn't have sailing experience, but he has since taken a class and is sailing at the lake near our city now. He wants to go at CC next time.

There are 4 in our family (2 adults, 2 kids), but we are sailing with another family and wondered if there would be room for 3 kids (so we can invite the little girl in the other family to come along). The kids would all be 11 years old.

We sailed on the Hobie Cats two weeks ago and were told we could have a maximum of four on a sailboat. It was great fun, but watch for the sandbars at low tide.

Thanks! Well at least our whole family can go out together. It was just a thought to invite this other little girl, but I am glad to know in advance that there isn't enough room so it isn't an issue.

Can't wait to try them! They look like fun!
