OK - i need suggestions on how to get rid of the sag!!!

The muscles are tightening up wonderfully under there but I can't get rid of the layer of droopy fat and skin. I know the skin takes about 7 years to go back but is there anything I can do to help it along.

I am doing loads of lower abs exercises, leg lifts etc but nothing is pulling it in. I have lost about 5 inches off it so far at least.

Any exercises and advice gratefully received

I wish I had an answer for you. I have lost a ton of fat from that area, nd now what I have is a layer of some fat and a ton of skin. I heard the 7 year thing, but I have been had it for about a 7year, and I have seen no shrinkage :( I know it is impossible to spot reduce, so aerobic exercise is all tht will work. Doing the crunches only helps tone the muscle underneath, so you may already have an awesome 6 pack :) I dunno what to say since I have the same problem and have not found any answers. I will keep exercising, and hoping, I know it can't hurt :) Good luck!

the first time I lost 100 pounds- I definitely had the sag- but with continued daily walking and drinking LOADS of water (that's ALL I drank literally) my belly was still "soft" but was much tighter after about 3 years. Now that I'm trying to lose about 70 pounds now- I can tell it probably will take longer this time. Walking really is the best waist trimmer- and not strolling but almost speed walking- the longer the stride the more you use your side waist muscles- but when you exercise everything needs more water- and with the skin being the largest organ- and usually the last to get the water- you need to keep it hydrated.

Also those lycra type bodysuits help you see your body in a better light- it pulls all that skin in- and makes you feel better about yourself- I'll go try to post that picture tomorrow- people are amazed that I lost 100 pounds because it doesn't look like I have saggy skin- but it was all the lycra I tell ya!!!

Elise, a woman who lost over 100 pounds on Atkins has sworn to me that taking bee pollen helps tighten up saggy tummy skin, etc.

I don't know if it's true but it isn't expensive you could try that. Who knows, it might work ;)
