A Princess Room ......... I knew it! I knew it! Yip, I knew you'd change it again.

We were booked in a Princess Room in February and got upgraded to the Poly because they were not ready then.
Can't wait to hear more!
Riverside is beautiful! Have a Magic Cookie bar for me and enjoy the boat transportation to DTD!

Sorry I'm slow posting about your latest change but I do have an excuse .... I'm at WDW! Anyway I love this change. POR is my favorite mod ..... maybe because it is the very first onsite resort we stayed at. I agree that you should ask for a corner room ... that extra bit of light does make a difference. Did you book that Jan airfare yet? Also shouldn't you be texting your mama some pictures?

Would you believe I have not even looked at a map of the resort yet??????? You just tell me what to request and I'll do it ....... one less thing for me to think about! When I get home I'll call and add you and your flight info ....... and room requests! I think I will wander over there Thurs and take a look.

For more than a night or two, I am always in charge of room requests!! Guess I would qualify as the request Queen!! Funny, in our 30 years of Disney visits, I remember every detail about room locations/views etc - even if I've not yet stayed at the resort. I love a view, doesn't matter which resort. Just funny that way, I guess. Also, will be calling my back room connection in special needs next month about WL.

So FLE AP preview has an opening on Nov. 13th 930pm to 1am...we arrive in MCO 8pm...crazy to sign up for this event???

FLE has been busy these last 2 weeks whenever I've been there.ride We were going to do the LM ride but the wait was 70 minutes the wait time for the one in CA is only about 5 or 10 minutes so we decided not to do it. I am excited for all the Snow White stuff to open. No help on rather you should do this or not ......

Usually I try not to share anything sad on our happy threads....but my heart is breaking and know my DIS family will understand.

It looks like tomorrow we will have to take our precious Jackie in to help her cross..she is 17 and came to us as an emergency foster a little over 9 years ago and made herself at home in our hearts. She has for sure been our 'heart' doglet, especially to my DD, Mia. I cannot imagine life around here without our Jackie.

Please pray or send good thoughts as we make this extremely difficult decision...we only want to help our sweet girl....she is suffering, has essentially stopped eating...the pain meds make her sick...so we have no other choice.

It was only available River View, so that's why I booked it, but since there's no balcony...I honestly am not concerned with the view at all! Plus now I am getting another $75 back

Awww.....I'm truly sorry to hear this. I pray that it will be peaceful for Jackie and that y'all will be comforted with wonderful memories and knowing that she's no longer suffering.

I did ask about FLE preview...and I declined..not ideal for our laid back Princess trip. I'll wait until summer rather than making my girls wait over an hour

NO NO NO!!! Change back to RV!! If you get a corner room (beg and plead for one!) it will be a lovely view...and those std rooms are waaay in the back facing the parking lot and it will be a hike to the food court! Trust me on this one.... it's not that much of savings - I'd not stay in a RR without a RV. ...just my 2 cents!!

So sorry Christine As difficult as this is to let her go, you are putting Jackie first, this shows how much you love her, and she knows that ... hoping and praying for a peaceful release for her and sending comfort to you all..

Pas, a wise choice I think ... to get in and relax is much better for all (especially HRH). You can take a leisurely boat ride to DTD instead ... EOS ... perhaps Ghirardelli’s ... yum...

I think we will be OK. I do trust you Christine, but with the savings a few more steps we can survive. Especially since we will not be enjoying the view from the room. But now I have to figure just how big are these buildings... Ugh!

Yes, the Princesses are not the most patient bunch, and they'd sooner not ride if the wait was too long...Already decided FP for Soarin and BTMRR are a MUST DO!!!!

Okay....I think I am all caught up now (I did skip some of the chatter).

You are staying at AOA in a Lion King room. Is this for the whole trip or are you still doing a couple of nights at WL?

We've not stayed at either. Obviously, AOA just opened not long ago (I promised DH that even though I will never stay at a value for a long trip, that we can do a Mermaid room when we go in April for his business trip for one or two nights) and WL doesn't appeal to us.

It cracks me up your DD gave up the "snack" room for a room at AOA.
