Safe Passage/Inspire Diagnostics - Number of tests per appointment???

I am sure this has been asked and answered, but I am having difficulty finding info. We are doing an Eastern Caribbean cruise out of PC in late august and will likely order the inspire tests through safe passage. We are two adults and three children. As I understand it, each adult will need their own safe passage log-in. When we make the Inspire appointments, how many tests can be done with one appointment? Can 1 adult share the appointment with 3 children, for a total of 4 people per appointment? Also, what is the cost for the Inspire test per person? Lastly, since Inspire is booked via Safe Passage, do they upload the results for you? Or do you still need to do that? I ask, because we are driving from NY to PC and will likely want to hit the road right after we test.

Antigen tests through safe passage are $46.58 USD per person. That price includes tax. I believe that you can schedule everyone for the same appointment time. The proctor will upload your results while you are on the zoom call.

I’ve just done part of this. The $46 and change above is correct. But you go in separately even for the minors to book your appointment time. I did all of mine for the exact same time but I am unsure if that means we’ll get separate zoom meeting numbers for each? I just assumed so. My minors are fifteen so I just told them to install zoom on their phones in case. My tests were mailed out the next day or two later I can’t remember if it was 24 or 48 hours and they are supposed to be here Tuesday.

Just for information for anyone considering On-Point testing, each appointment could have up to 4 people. Only one appointment needed to be made online. It was very easy.

I saw a video of a couple walking through inspire testing, so I know you can at least do 2 people at once.

It said in my email that that they do it for you. That was the “selling point “ for us! Stay on line until you see the clear to sail in safe passage. I am scheduled for this Saturday 12:15 am.

One appointment per stateroom.

Test results will be uploaded, and you'll be asked to confirm, WHILE you're on the call.

Just for information for anyone considering On-Point testing, each appointment could have up to 4 people. Only one appointment needed to be made online. It was very easy.

We did our testing with Onpoint. It was a breeze. We tested in the morning, uploaded to Safe Passage and were approved clear to sail by yesterday evening.

If you had tested with Inspire, you would have been cleared to sail in the morning when you tested.

And that is what you get for the price difference, an immediate clear to sail. We got all five of our tests through On Point for less than two tests through Inspire. The price difference wasn't worth it for us. For others it may very well be.

Our Insurance only pays for Covid testing if you are symptomatic. They do not pay for travel testing. But we can use our Health Flex Account funds to pay for it.
