Safe from AirTran schedule changes?

Is there some point in time when our May flights will be safe from AirTran's schedule changes? I think I remember someone saying that six weeks prior to your flight, you might be safe. Does anyone know? We rented DVC points and I need to have our DVC person call to update our ME times, but I don't want them to have to make the call multiple times or make them call on a short deadline.

Ummm .... you are never "safe" from airline changes. Make the call to DVC give them your flight number. Unless you get dumped from one flight and re-booked on another flight Disney will know when your flight will come in.

Your arrival flight time won't matter so much anyway, as long as the day you are arriving doesn't change. ME will still take you from MCO to your resort. Your departure flight is the one you need to stay on top of and make sure that ME has you picked up early enough to make your flight.

i've had AT change flight times the day before travel (usually less than 1/2 hour), always recheck, especially for the flight home

So what's the best way to check to make sure there are no changes. Should I check my email or check like I was making a reservation?

I always use the website's "find itinerary" option. They don't always email you when there's a change, unfortunately. I have probably checked it fifty times since I made our reservation in November and I'll check it that many more before mid-May. I have always enjoyed flying AirTran, but I must admit their schedule-shuffling is a bit unnerving.
