We are going the week of Christmas this year and booked the Mickey's Christmas party and 3 parks. Has anyone done and would recommend a special safari trek at AK or a night safari at AKL or the EP Seas 2 hours w/the dolphins? Any other special tours that you would recommend instead of these two options? Especially ones that DON'T require a theme park ticket? Thank you for your suggestions!!!

I have done only two tour. The Keys to the Kingdom is really great value for money, really informative and you get to see some backstage and the tunnels under the park. Recommended.
The Backstage Magic tour is equally great, but it costs more and will take almost the whole day, so it requires a greater commitment.

Thank you for your insight. The KTTK tour - is that for 18yrs+ only? I would love to do the utilidoors! Good to know about the backstage magic tour..thank you!

I've done the safari tour at AKL that was called the Wanyama Safari tour (don't know if that's what it's called now). I've been able to do it twice-does that tell you how much I liked it? It's a 1 1/2 hour tour of the AKL/AKV savannah followed by a family-style meal at Jiko.

The Savor the Savannah was not worth half of what I paid

Safari was no better than the free ride with appetizer dessert from Tusker house for 175

Thanks for your feedback. Definitely worth considering the cost. Tusker House is a great place to eat!
