Safari Celebration Dinner more info please

Hello Everyone

Is there anyone who can please give me some more info on this event for example:-

Is it available on certain days only?
What time does the event start?
How long is the event from start to finish?
What is the entertainment after the safari? Is it just characters if so which ones?

Sorry to be so picky but i was thinking of doing this as a celebration for 20 guests after my intimate wedding ( i know i cant wear my dress for this but at least it wont be so dirty for the MK shoot lol ), or for my DH2B birthday on the next night.

He loves animals & this would be so perfect for him - and yes i did pick the day b4 his birthday for our wedding in the vague hope that after many yrs he will still remember the date of our anniversary

The Grand Gathering Safari Celebration dinner is currently offered on Sunday and Thursday evenings. Prior to your safari, you'll meet your hosts for the evening. The safaris are usually shortly after the park closes, although this may be adjusted depending on factors including park hours, sunset time, and probably other factors as well.

After the safari, you're taken to Dinner, where there will be some entertainment throughout the course of the meal. Yes, characters often show up, however, which ones in particular are subject to change.

The event lasts roughly 3 hours, if memory serves correctly.

Unfortunataly this isnt going to work as a reception for us as we get married on a wednesday, so have to think of something else now, but I have every intention of surprisng my DH2B with this event on the following night for his birthday. Now gotta think of ways to stop 20 ppl blabbing lol

jiko at the animal kingdom lodge has a private party room. there's also boma's which is a ethnic buffet, very yummy. you could also do dinner at dtd's rainforest cafe they have a private party room, that is where were having our welcome dinner for all our guests for our dftw wedding this march.

Sorry to be a pain but just 1 more question:-

What is the max no. of ppl roughly that can attend this event?

A few friends unfortuntaly cant attend our wedding, but can DH2B Birthday.
We wouldnt want to go over the max ppl allowed.

The max number that can fit on a single safari vehicle, depending on the size of the people is 28-35. I imagine that if you had a group larger than that, they'd probably be able to accomodate you on separate safari vehicles, and your seats for the dinner part may be at separate tables.
