As long as you get there early and don't dawdle, why wouldn't it be able to be done?

The park opens by 9:00, if you get there by 8:30 to be early in line, and go straight to the safari, you'll be done by 9:30ish. It doesn't take an hour to get to the other side of the park unless you're walking really slowly.

You don't need a shortcut, it's really a no-brainer.

It can easily be done. We did it last trip with plenty of time to spare. We even toured Pangani Forest. Just like you, we also had a Breakfastosaurus PS @ 1030. It is even easier if you do it when AK has an EE day.

I believe 1030 is also one of the last PS's available before Donald's Breakfastosaurus closes it's doors for breakfast and switches over to lunch. That was a great time for us because the buffet crowds were very light and the food was plentiful. Also, because the crowds were so light, the characters spent a great amount at our table. In fact, all sat down at the same time with us for a few minutes while we ate. After the characters enjoyed having a nice breakfast with us, they broke into a food fight with our leftovers.

Yep, you can do it - we just did in August! Even though we tried to get there early on EE day, we didn't get in the park and back to the Safari until 9 (teenagers !) - 20 minute standy by wait - lots of animals out - over to Dinosaur to pick up a FP - then we still had time to go to the Bone Dig for about 15 mins until we checked in for our 10:10 PS. It was a very busy morning and we weren't seated until 10:30. The characters started their rounds at 11 - great timing for us as we were all done eating by then. We all really enjoyed the breakfast and the character interaction here !! - after breakfast we went right over to Dinosaur for our FP!
