Questions for a trip mid October:
Does the parade start in Frontierland or on Main St?
If it starts in Frontierland, how early do you need to get a good viewing spot? And where is a good spot?
If it starts in Frontierland, how long does it take to get to Main St.
Which area is less crowded.
We are planning to get to the park in time for the parade. We can't decide btwn taking the train to Frontierland to see it there & then hit the attractions on that side of the park, or walking down Main St & watching it as we walk to Fantasyland. Is walking down Main St impossible during a parade?? We'll be hazardous since we'll have one double stroller and one single stroller in the group!!
Thanks for any advice for this Oct trip!!

It starts in Frontierland. If the parade had reached Main St. you would not be able to walk down the street.

DCT starts in Frontierland and goes to Main Street. People start lining up for a spot in Frontierland early- probably 45-60 minutes. DCT takes about 20 minutes to get to Main Street. I think Main Street is less crowded- because it takes awhie to get there and people start filling up in Frontierland. My favorite spot is in front of the barber shop on Main Street. BTW, when it gets close to parade time, the train gets shut down- the floats have to cross over the train track. So depending on what time you get there, I would say go for Main Street.

I either sit in the rocking chairs on the small porch behind the HoP or in front of the Sports store on Main Street. I like Main Street better, but sometimes it is just too crowded.
