Some girl in a room said black beret was rare so this other girl before I could say anything entered a trade and offered her blue dress bottom after the trade she said trading rare black beret! Everyone told her it was not rare the person who made the bad trade left the dress bottom was all she had! I can't believe people would do that.

Being the kind person I am traded her a tophat for the beret:)

Whenever I see this, or hear this for someone else, I just get so upset. Why would someone in the right mind do this? Poor girl...

And its very kind of you to do that, jasonpwns. I bet she will be very happy.

You might have been scammed.

On another board (the one that came up with the code generators), I once read about a player bragging of a scheme like this. Said he used mules (girl characters, the "victim" with the baby face look) to make it look like one mule just ripped off the other mule. Then the babyface would tell people she just got a great trade, for example, her cowboy hat for a "rare" red candlestick, then everyone would tell her she just got ripped off. "When ppl say this, you have her cry and watch the gifts and generous trades roll in. Profit."

Of course, there's no way of knowing whether you got scammed or you just helped out another player who got scammed.

I just don't even know what to say to that. That's pathetic. The lows to which people will sink... It's terrible to hear about those who want to help people getting scammed. It still was a really nice gesture on your part though!

Well she didn't baby face or big cheeks and the girl traded another boy person a beret for rare but the boy left after knowing he got scammed

well, thats what VMK has come to, with all the beta and stuff, over half the people are in it for virtual value. not one, not a group of people are going to stop it. it is what it is.

Wow! I had no idea people would be that cruel, it really makes me disapointed. I thought it was very nice or jasonpwns to give her the top hat though.

I hate when ppl do that also - has been done to me too times

1.) someone said the buyable HKDL poster red was beta so i traded a bird hat for it

2.) someone said a cyan hong kong ship chair was high beta and no one has 1 so i traded full theatre for it -.-

comes to find out, after the trades i go to my friends and they tell me the horrible news.
that was also a kind thing of you to do :):):):):):)

That's why I only give gifts to people who don't ask for them...this girl came into my quest room and she was wearing all the New Orleans pins and her sig. said she was from the real New Orleans so I gave her one of my Club33 pins (they are particularly easy to get this month)...she was so appreciative!
