Sad to say that we are completely

This may be a really silly question but I haven't seen any thing posted about it yet. I thought I remebered reading a while ago that there would not be a separate Bell Service at VGF. I have a wheelchair rented for our stay in Nov and need to let them know where it should be delivered.

They have bell services, yes, just not valet. When we pulled up, there was someone at the bell stand outside VGF and he asked if we needed assistance with our luggage. Ours was already in storage since we were moving from BCV, so we didn't, but I assume he's the one who would've contacted the main resort.

Um, it's not separate. I guess to answer your question. The bellmen are all from the main resort, but there is a small bell desk at VGF. When you hit the "bell services" button on your phone, you're calling the main desk at the main building.

VGF has a Bell Service stand out front and storage on site. The CM that unloads your car and greets you is a Disney employee but his job title doesn't allow him to take your luggage to your room. Regular Bell Service CM's come a go all day between the resorts and the wait for room luggage service is about the same as other resorts.

We were thinking of renting a car for our first day so we can get some stuff for the room....

Can we have the car delivered to the resort? Or should we pick it up at the airport?

I can't say I've read any rental car delivery to the resort. But I could be wrong.
I know there's a car rental place at swan/dolphin hotel where you can pick up your car.
Supposedly they also have a shuttle service that could pick you up from your hotel to swan/dolphin.

If you are just thinking about groceries you might want to try Garden Grocer or We Go Shop.
Or maybe get those limo service which gives you 1 grocery shop stop on the way from the airport to the resort.

But we use GG everytime we go to WDW and have been very happy with their service. No worries about taking time out to shop while we're on vacation.

I find the Garden grocer too expensive. We can rent a car for the day for $20.00 Or just get a cab to drive over to the Walmart is almost a cheap. We got alot of t shirts at Walmart too.

Maybe I have a strange sense of humor.

The juxtaposition of this post in a thread about the VGF, where new members are spending $24k+ (160 points at $150pp) to buy in before considering annual dues, was splendid.

It made my day. That is all.

If you are flying into an airport, why would you have a car delivered to the resort? Never heard of "delivering" a car to a resort!:confused:

I am entertained with you ;)

We like to go to the walmart and get a few things for the room. We are flying in. We got a cab for our last trip.

The grocery store that delivers, their prices are insane.
