Sad/scary NJ story

This is the town I work in -- sleepy shore town. When will people learn NOT to rent rooms in their houses? I know it's a generalization, but it seems so often this is the way it turns out.

I stopped reading after the first paragraph. It's just too upsetting to me. Horrible. Sad. Terrifying.

It makes it rough when it hits so close to home like that. Those poor children, may they rest in peace.

The animal makes his first court appearance at 2 p.m. today.

Charged with "bludeoning to death the two children....with a hammer"

Autopsy on the boys is scheduled for 3 p.m.

Sick -- just sick.

I can't imagine what a tormented mind those monsters must have to have no conscience to be able to do something like that. No doubt those poor innocent children must of screamed out in pain, or pleaded for him to stop.

How on earth can one person look another person in the eye and kill them? Even in self defense I would find it so difficult.

Well, the articles don't say how long she knew him. He'd been renting from her since October, and yes, the latest update said "illegal immigrant".

He's being held without bail. It was originally supposed to be $2M bail, but since he's here illegally, it's no bail.

I hope they don't just deport him. I'm sure he's hoping for that. Mom and dad didn't even realize their sons were dead until they found them both in the basement. How horrible for their whole family.

What a sad, sad day. My thoughts are with that poor family. I guess the mom thought she could help him, she knew him from work. We can't trust anyone anymore can we?
