It's just his head, on the back of the chair.
It's a little hard to see because it's a front view of his head. You're used to seeing him from the side - not head on.

It's a little hard to see because it's a front view of his head. You're used to seeing him from the side - not head on.

I can see it on the chair...I just couldn't see him on the pic posted in Adventureland...

We'd never noticed that before! We usually go into the handicapped entrance because of my little sisters wheelchair, but I showed the chair to my mom, and she had never noticed it before either.

It's the same deal though, he's viewed from the front and is pretty simplified.
In the Adventureland picture, if you look at the little area under the roof on the right side of the picture, his open mouth is the 2 sort of swoopy looking V shapes. His teeth (didn't know he had any, so maybe it's just shading on the inside of his mouth) are visible and his tongue is visible in the middle of his mouth. One of his eyes is the backwards S and the other eye is only partly visible.

I hope it is just getting refurbed! I love that chair...I will be looking for it on my trip and I will report back on its status when I return in October.

Maybe Mickey stole it to get back at Donald for starring in Philharmagic

I do hope it will be returned.

My guess it was Stitch. He probably slimed it. Since not many like his ride. LOL

Heh, I have this funny mental pictures of walls up inside HM, painted black with the words "this chair is being refurbished for your enjoyment".

Maybe if the chair doesn't come back, they'll give it a gravestone out front!

By the way the chair has been gone for a few months now We noticed it was missing around May.

I hope it comes back too. It's a very stylized Donald and I'd never noticed it looking like Donald until I'd read it here. Now, every time I see it I can see Donald. I'll miss seeing it if it doesn't come back.
