Don't get down. I know it can be tough at times, but you can overcome this.
Count up your calories that you are currently eating and then try lowering them. Example, if you are taking in 2000 per day, try dropping to 1500.
Are you doing cardio type workouts or weight training or both? Also keep in mind that your weight can stay the same when exercising with weight training. You lose fat, but gain muscle. This lean mass can keep your weight around the same, or even a little higher.
Keep trying, and if you can or want to, try posting a few more details.

Good luck!!

Well, I'm not being critical here but, how on earth did you gain 10 lbs? What period of time are you talking about gaining this weight? One Week? Is TOM approaching? If so, your body may be retaining a lot of water right now. WHOOSH fairy takes care of that next week. ;)

Your water and exercise seem fine to me but, what are you eating? Again, not being critical but, if you're going through a drive-thru for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner, water & exercise will only help so much. Are you on a specific diet plan?

I don't think that having your gall bladder removed has any bearing but, I'm NOT a medical professional.

If this is just ONE WEEK tho, I'd say let it go......move on(ward and downward) to next week and, see what happens. :sunny:

NO I DIDNT GAIN WEIGHT IN ONE WEEK IT BEEN GAINED IN A PERIOD OF A COUPLE OF MONTHS I ALSO DONT DRIVE THROUGH A DRIVE THROUGH I AM NOT A FAST FOOD PERSON

THIS IS WAY I GET MORE UPSET I NEVER BEEN A BREAKFEST PERSON AND FOR LUNCH ITS EITHER A SALAD OR A WRAP FROM TRADER JOES

THANK YOU GUYS

Hi Juliette :wave2: I'm just wondering how tall you are and what you think that you should weigh?

I also don't think that having your gallbladder removed has any bearing on weight gain or loss. I had mine removed around 4 years ago and as far as I can tell it has made no difference to me!

You say that you are not a breakfast person. Does that mean that you never eat breakfast? If so you might want to consider having something in the morning. You don't have to have a great big breakfast. However if you have something to eat it will get your metabolism going.

As far as having salad for lunch. I don't know what type of salad you eat, but there can be a lot of hidden calories in salad, so beware!

Good luck with what you decide to do! :hyper:

Hi Juliette! Don't be sad and blue anymore! You are doing the smart thing by addressing this while you only have 10 pounds to lose. Wish I had been smart enough to do that! :D

I know we have several WISH'ers who use Fitday to track their daily calorie intake. It has lots of great tools for tracking nutritional intake, too. And best of all--it's free! Here's a link if you would like to take a look.Fitday

Here's a calculator that tells you how many calories per day you should eat to maintain your current weight. Reduce that number by 500 per day (or 3,500 per week) to lose 1 pound per week.
Calorie Calculator for Women

Slow weight loss is best, so I wouldn't recommend reducing your calories more than the 500 per day, since you are exercising often. Also, be sure you are getting the recommended daily servings of fruits/veggies, protein, milk, breads, etc.
And I agree with Catherine. Eating breakfast really does help get your metabolism started-even if you just eat a small amount.

Hope this info helps. Good luck!! :D
