Yesterday my MOH and I went for lunch and before returning home I had just wanted to show her a dress that we both had liked the last time we went dress shopping. We only say it on a billboard in the store but it wasn't in this particular store. We went in and just for fun I asked her to try it on. Well, we both immediately fell ion love with it and after having it on in the store for 20 minutes she bought it!!!!!!! The dress fits her like a glove and because there was a little dirt on the dress she got 10% off!!! The dress is yellow instead of pink BUT I decided to keep the pink focus on me and have her have pink and yellow flowers.

She took many a costume designer classes and wants to take off the hideous silver beading and redo it also in silver. I think it's going to look great. Her friend is going to bustle it for her so she can dance without breaking her neck

P.S. she thinks she wants to lose some weight before the wedding . If I told you her dress size you'd send her hate mail

How stupid about the Bridal Salon! If you want to try on dresses, you should be able to try on dresses! They don't know if you're going to buy or not! Idiots. LOVE the shoes! I could NEVER EVER walk in them, but they are really cool! Your MOH looks great in that dress! There is no way she needs to lose weight

That is really pretty. I think the silver added in place of the beads will look great. Adding the pink touches (flowers etc) will give your wedding a very summery(is that really a word?) feel..... MOH looks great in dress! How excitingfor you both!

That dress is very pretty and looks like it was made for her, it fits so well. I think it will look very really nice with her carrying yellow and pink flowers.

Thats a very pretty dress.... the shoes oh my....I only wish I could wear something like that..... I like the seals too. I plan on getting some but haven't found ones I want yet. you have been busy.everything looks great!

I'm in love with that tux! It's so nice! I really didn't think my DF would want to wear it but he loves it too I hope it is somewhat reasonably priced. YAY, another mickey mad hatter. Can't wait to see it!

Sabrina, I've had the same problems! Whenever I go into a bridal store and shop they act all sweet until I tell them my wedding date and then poof! No more service! It's like they think I'm not going to purchase because my wedding is so far away. Now, a couple of stores left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't want to buy a dress now from them no matter how close I am! Just lie next time you go to a store and say your wedding is closer.

I think the beads are pretty hideous so I can't wait to get rid of all that. I hope we can find something with sparkle. As I've said I really wanted pink but I'll just add the pink touches but you are definitely right, those colors are pretty summery

Thanks. It really does look like it was made for her. Weird considering we bought it off the rack from a department store in the prom section but sometimes things just work out for the best.

I have a mini update! I just ordered my invitations from cards and pockets! I'll post pictures as soon as I get them. For those of you who are excited like me and can't wait, they are chocolate, pink and metallic white

Hi Cam! Yes, I am making my own invitations as well. I, like yourself, am waiting for everything to be signed before I print anything. I'm too excited to wait to start putting them together though. I think that is what I'll do when I receive my box but I'll wait to actually print anything.

I personally would have told the bridal salon to kiss off, but since the dress you want is there, why don't you just call them & tell them you've moved up the wedding date & give them one really soon. It's none of their business anyway as long as they have time to order it & do any necessary alterations.

I originally wanted the disney invitations but couldn't get them delivered here. I ended up finding the seals on ebay. If you could get some seals, how many would you need?

AWWWWW that is the sweetest thing! thank you so much. I may have to take you up on your offer sometime I almost ordered the wrong sized envelopes. I'm using 6x6 and was going to buy 6x6 envelopes and realized at the last second that they would never fit. Boxes? you mean for your invitations?

I found out last night that my other sil (df's sister) is expecting her first baby and DF and I are going to be the godparents for the first time !!!! I'm VERY EXCITED !!!!!! Furthermore, the baby's due date is Jan. 1st!!!! how fun is that!!! I just had to share the good news! My other niece or nephew (from my brother) is due this august!!! I"m going to be a busy bride-aunt

I originally wanted the disney invitations but couldn't get them delivered here. I ended up finding the seals on ebay. If you could get some seals, how many would you need?

It sucks doesn't it?! I would probably need around 20 seals or less for the STD cards and the invitations. I'll have to have a good look around again on ebay rather than internet wedding places. I don't mind paying for postage but it really annoys me when they rip you off. Some place wanted $25 postage for some labels to the UK!!
