The slide at SAB was open today. Not sure if today was the first day as we just checked in yesterday.

If this should not be on the DVC community board, sorry moderators!

Also the Marketplace is supposed to be open on March 24 or 25 (have heard two dates now). I've been told it will have some seating. It should have more grocery selection as well as sandwiches and salads.

There are some dark pink women's BCV T-shirts in Atlantic Wear...sort of a fitted style.

We have a wonderful view and Allen at checkin was great. We had been assigned this room but he went over some other options with me as well as ours wasn't ready when I checked in. He spent lots of time with me as I debated. :confused3 But I went with his recommendation to stick with this room and am so glad we did. There was no one else in line at that hour. :sunny:

Brian in valet was helpful and friendly too in storing insulin and some other stuff for us.

Does anyone have any research assignments for me? ;)

have a great trip - will be waiting for all the details

Thanks for the update, we will be checking in on Sat and was hoping the slide would be opened by then.....

Thanks for the assignment everyone! ;) I can handle that.

Denise, I hope you have a great vacation as well. :sunny:

Thanks for the update, and have a magical trip! ::yes::

Have to wait until August before we get to head home to BCV again! :) Looking forward to the rehabbed pool and the new Marketplace.

Leaving Thursday for BWV and BCV! So happy to hear the slide is open again!

Have a great trip!

We are going to BCV in Sept, and cant wait! We always wanted to try BC, but our daughter loves the Poly. Our first trip "home"!

Any advice about things we cant miss?

Kathleena, I hope you have a magical stay. :wizard:

Tagrel and SyrCinderella, your trips will be here before you know it. What not to miss? SAB, and walking to Epcot for a meal or Illuminations are both wonderful.

A couple of other notes because I always forget when I get home! The coffee pot is a 12 cup Mr. Coffee....isn't that different or am I going braindead...a distinct possibility!

The tea kettle seems like a new and pleasing design too.

And I have a question. Isn't there usually a hook in the tub part of the 1BR? This unit has two hook in the shower room and none in the other room. A minor annoyance. Did I say I love this room?! :sunny:

Finally, the mattress on the king bed is very nice...a big improvement over the last couple ones we've had. :cool1:
