s2is downloading to pc to cd problem

hi guys and girls... question for you cannon s2is users. i downloaded my pictures for the first time to my pc the other day. that went just fine, but when i wrote those to a cd, the pictures cannot be read. when i downloaded them, i elected to write them all to the same directory. is this what's going wrong? i'm assuming the format is .jpg... is this correct? just seems wierd as i had no problem with my other digital...

If the problem is not being able to read the pictures on the cd...

You may need to "close" the CD, Or "finalize" it before it can be read.

If it is a different problem please give some more details.
