S.Shore Mass - Scrapbooking classes?

I know there are alot of Massachusetts people on this msg board, so I was wondering if anyone out there can recommend a scrapbooking class that I could attend.

I live on the S. Shore and I am completely new to scrapbooking but its something I'd like to try.

There was a scrapbooking place near me but they closed. I went in for classes and they told me they were closing next month. Also I know Michael's does classes, but I was wondering about some other options.

I know there is a small store in Pembroke (near Gymboree) and I recently saw one in Weymouth on Rt 53 (across from Caswell's Seafood if I recall). HTH!

Thanks Pea-n-me. The one on rt 53 I believe is the one that recently closed. They told me I needed to go to ...I believe Taunton for their next closest store! I was really bummed about the one closing on 53 since it is really close to my home.

But next time I go down that way I'll keep an eye out to make sure another one didn't pop up!

I'll take a look at the Pembroke one too.

Taunton?? That's a haul. There have to be more that are closer. If you call the Gymboree store in Pembroke (781-826-3665 - currently closed)they can probably give you the name of the store (if it's still there) and you could get the # that way. I bet there are also some other stores near or on the Cape, too, or around the Quincy area.

Kim, I'm a Creative Memories Consultant if you need any help I would be glad to help you out. I live in Ashland (Metrowest) but I have cousins in Marshfield and go down there every so often. There is a great little store in Grafton that offers classes, it's called A time for Memories. I know that is very far for you to go. Let me know if I can help in any way. Nancy

There's a scrapbooking place on RT 18 in Abington. A friend in Pembroke does creative memories and has a class in Dorchester every wednesday and we also get together in Pembroke at her house once a month, she's off of RT 27. E.mail me if interested.
