When I took my older grand daughters a few years ago they got to meet the princesses in the garden by the castle. I cannot remember how I found out about it at the time. I am bringing my 2 youngest grand daughters in March but I have been unable to find the schedule for this event. As I recall the princesses would come out 2 or 3 times a day near the castle then walk with the children toward airels grotto. Is this still taking place and if so does anyone know the schedule??

Was it for storytime?

In the princess fantasy faire across the path from small world you can meet a lot of them.

the Princesses can be seen at the Princess Fantasy Faire back at the rear of DLR near Toontown. It's short of a crap shoot on who you see, the Princesses rotate every 15 minutes or so. Ariel's Grotto in DLR does not exist anymore, it's now Pixie Hollow and you can meet the Fairies there. :)
You can also see the Princesses by booking a character meal at Ariel's Grotto in DCA, they offer a family style breakfast or you can meet them by booking a lunch there. Dinners are reserved for those who want to book a priority seating at the WoC but the lunch at AG is very good. You will meet Ariel (of course) first before you are seated, then 4 more Princesses come to your table, we've seen Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Mulan, Pocahontas and Jasmine and I've heard others have met the Fairy Godmother and Princess Minnie as well but you are guaranteed 5 Princesses. You can see menus for this here on the Dis.

I don't know if it's common or would be on the schedule, but when we were there we ran into Snow White and Ariel over next to Snow's wishing well. They were posing for pictures and signing autographs.

That also happened to me twice in November.

First I spotted Aurora near the Plaza Gardens from the castle drawbridge (don't think I ever turned around that fast!) and when we had our picture taken with her I realized Cinderella was nearby, along with the Fairy Godmother!

Then we went in the castle courtyard through the side entrance from Frontiertland, and there's Snow White in front of the Bibbedi Bobbedi Boutique! :scared1:

I was really sure that PFF was closed or something, but it wasn't.

A couple of days later we met Belle near the Wishing Well.

It is definitely not on the schedule, and when I texted my local friends with this news they were convinced I was kidding them. So at that time it seemed to be something really unusual.

We saw Ariel twice when we were there at the beginning of December. She was hanging out at Snow White's wishing well also. And we saw Snow White in front of the castle just as the Evil Queen was coming out from the left side of it. So, I guess maybe they do that randomly? Cauze I didn't see a set schedule.

We went to PFF last time we went in Aug., they opened at 9, we were there at 830 and were 2nd in line, the line got long FAST. If you are going to go there, I would recommend getting there early so you don't end up standing in line forever. We saw Ariel, Belle and Tiana there. We later saw Aurora and Snow White over by the wishing well, I have no idea if there is a set schedule over there though, we just walked by and got in line (and the line was cut off after us!)

I think you are thinking about King Triton's Grotto. It is not longer around as Pixie Hollow has taken its place. To answer your question the princess, as of late, do make appearances around the castle, either in Snow White's Grotto, to the left of the castle (plaza gardens area) or even sometimes just on the other side of the castle entrance (after you as under the castle).

However, if you want to see princess, I would take a look at what others have posted as it is more reliable way to see them. You can always ask City Hall, but you'll probably be directed to PFF.

You can stop by City Hall and ask them for the daily schedule! They are happy to let you know where your favorite characters are going to be and when. :) I think its just to the left as you walk under the bridge. I know the princesses are often on the sides of the Castle throughout the day. You just have to catch them at the right times.

But ya, also Princess Fantasy Faire has Meet & Greet with 3 princesses in the very back of the park. The wait is usually pretty long, but at least its covered!

princess character meal is the best way without having to wait around in lines

At different times, I have seen Cinderella, Belle, Princess Aurora, and even Mulan around the Castle.

We did the Princess Fanasty Faire at 9 am got in line about 830-845 ish. Saw Belle, Tianna and Ariel. Then we grabbed a snack and watched the 10 o'clock show. After the show the Princesses left and so did the crowd. About 5-10 minutes later the princesses came out. There was Snow White, Cinderella and Auora. I'd suggest starting with Snow White as when we did it she left early to do story time.

I was happy to see 6 princesses in 2 hours and it was free.

Often a Princess (usually Aurora or the Fairy Godmother) can be found just inside the castle. Once in a while at the main entrance at 10:00am.

Most days they have Princess's walk from the Tomorrowland entrance to the Plaza Gardens area to the left of the castle. Usually they split up and meet guests for about 20 minutes. And, on occasion they get together near the secret bathroom at the back of the Plaza and tell stories! They tend to do this on the hour 12:00, 1:00, or 2:00pm. You can check with City Hall or the information booth in front of the Adventureland entrance to see if they will be out in the park. These are scheduled to not be near Parade times, or when the DL Band preforms in front of the Castle at noon.

I have seen three Auroras within an hour in three different locations.

That is a great pic!!

We also ran into Ariel and Snow White at the Wishing Well early December. And my DD loves PFF, just have to go when the line isn't too long.
