We have the ddp with the FD for d.visa holders code, yay! Okay, we have an adr here for a Monday in Nov. Main reason I got it was to try to get a spot out on the porch so we can see the spectromagic parade go by that night. I know it won't be like being right up close, but that's okay, just hope to get a front spot, but not even sure how it's laid out. Any hints on making that plan work? We have a 6:15 adr, spectro is at 7:00.

As far as food goes, these are what I'm choosing from. Any thoughts on what's best? Also, anyone know if it's possible to request them to make a bianca flatbread for my dinner entree although it's not listed on the dinner menu? Thanks! :goodvibes

Chicken Parmigiana - Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast with Marinara sauce topped with Melted Mozzarella over Spaghetti $16.99

Spaghetti - with choice of Meatballs or Sweet Italian Sausage in Tony's own Marinara sauce $16.99
(I like the spaghetti meatballs choice cause of my favorite scene from Lady and The Tramp when they are sharing their spag./mtballs dinner! Okay, I know dumb reason! But, is it good?

NY Strip Steak - Port Wine Sauce, Baked Romano Cheese Potatoes and Broccolini $27.99

I had the Chicken Parmigiana (sorry if I've spent that wrong!) on my 2004 trip, my Dad and my hubby had the meatballs. We all LOVED it - we had one of the best meals at Tony's, we really enjoyed it. (We were walk-ins at around 3pm-5pm ish, can't remember exactly)

However, I know it was 2004 so its prob. not that much help!!!

Enjoy!

The port wine sauce with the NY Strip is just about the best thing I've ever had. If it wasn't completely impolite, I would have licked my plate.

I had shrimp alfredo dish and my daughter had chicken parm and they were great but huge portions. We are going again in Jan 2009 and like you hope to see specto from there with 6:10 res

I had the strip steak and LOVED IT!! I HATEDDDD the chicken parm when we went...and I think it was mostly because of the soggy spaghetti that was sitting in runny tomato sauce. The chicken might be ok but the sauce and spaghetti was gross when I had it in December. :(

Hi there!

We just got back from our trip yesterday and we went to Tony's Town Square last Thursday, the 25th.

DBF had the Chicken Parmigiana and I had the spaghetti. The meatballs are FANTASTIC, so I totally reccomend the spaghetti.

Also, on the Spectro Magic thing......we did the same thing, and even requested and received a seat on the patio! The bad part was, there were so many people standing by the street, many with kids on their shoulders, so we really weren't able to see all that well. You can see the top half of the float, but the people who walk along and perform, or the smaller floats like the fish, weren't visible at all. (I only know about them because we watched the spectro magic parade later in the trip!)

Also, just to keep in mind, a lot of people are requesting the patio for the very same reason, so it's not guaranteed you can get a seat outside.

Hope this helps!!!! :)

Thanks for the responses, guys! Hmmm, the steak sounds yummy but will be getting that elsewhere, but I could definitely see DD18 getting it! Or, just maybe, she'll get the spaghetti and meatballs, with me, that's sounding more appealing and I've change from the chicken parmigiana, I just don't see many saying they really liked it too much! Thanks! Also, yeah I realize that about the parade and not having a perfect view, but that's okay, we are going to be able to see it again later in the week and can grab a closer spot! :goodvibes

The Eggplant Catasta is deeeelicious!
A couple of the hostesses are Attila the Huns come to WDW:rotfl:. It doesn't hurt to ask for a particular area.

Hi, I had lunch there yesterday and had the chicken parm. It was fine, nothing special but not a bad dish. The stand out dish was actually the mushroom soup, it was very very good, I reccomend it for an app if it's still on the menu

Mmmmm, that mushroom soup sounds yummy! I'm getting excited to go there, that means we'll be in Disney and the MK!!:rotfl2:

I am so excited for you....but so sad for me awww lol. It will be at least a year before I get to go on any Disney vacation at all and it will probably be Disneyworld at that. Sad me :(
