My DH and I will be at CBR for 17 nights and we had to get two reservations for it. We are staying in a standard room but the CM didn't ask me if I wanted a non-smoking room. I was going to fax in a room request for a certain "island" and building number, but now I have to request non-smoking and I would also like a ground floor room. My DH just told me he would like a fridge!

Is all this too much to ask for?

How much extra is the fridge?

:rotfl:

Your 1st request for a Fridge should be no problem since all Moderate's now have Fridges .........i have direct number to hotel i have been checking on my request the past week;I ll be a the CBR next week the direct number to CBR 1-407-934-3400............... :cool1: :wizard: spread a little pixie Dust on your request

Hi, I was told by my TA today that any requests would not be guaranteed by Disney ,but that they try thier best. I would call and request the building ,floor etc and a non smoking room. I was told to call a few days before your arrival just to remind them of your requests. I wasn't sure if you needed a ground floor room due to a disability or not. Last year when my father-in-law went he had ,had back surgery and was unable to walk the long hallways etc., the Wilderness Lodge was very kind to be sure he had a room on the first floor ,close to the exits and lobby. They were great! If this is your issue you may want to mention the disability to them. Good Luck! :goodvibes

When I called CRO and made my reservation, I asked for a smoking room in Aruba on the first floor. I never fax or call after the initial ressie was made. I was checked in at 10 am and received my requests. I've only stayed on site 4 times, and never had a problem with my requests. Never did get an upgrade though :confused3

Neither have I, but I don't think that it's something we should expect...

Disney is pretty good about room requests, I was told by a CM at CRO once that 99% of the time they will be able to accommodate pretty much anything except for high occupancy periods like spring break and holidays.

Most of the rooms at CBR are non smoking. There is only one building that is smoking. Fridges are standard in the room now. Also keep in mind that when you call the number for the resort you are most likely reaching the Disney call center not the actual resort. If you have your requests noted in your reservation you will be fine. You can always ask again at check in for any requests.
