We prefer Spirit of Aloha, but I will admit that we seem to be in the minority.

Been to both more than once and HDDR wins hands down. Some people report it is corny, I aggree, its suppose to be but it's funny as can be and the kids seem to like it. We enjoy the food and others report it as medicore but its the same type of food as the Spirit of Aloha somewhat modified..smjj

Great 'cause I understand that spirit of Aloha can be cancelled due to weather so that makes me believe it's outdoors. Therefore maybe we should do the HDDR

we did HDDMR in 1996, love love loved it!! it is inside.

we were scheduled to see SOA this past dec, but it was too cold i guess, so it was cancelled. we were scheduled for the 8pm show, maybe if we had sched. to the 5pm show we would have gotten to see it. (it is open air, with a roof.)

we are going to the HDDMR for sure this next trip!

I'll take the Spirit of Aloha here... I love the Poly...the outdoor area where this show is held is so gorgeous...the palm trees..the breeze..tropical flowers. I don't recall the food being bad at all...as a matter of fact...we enjoyed it! We also have done the HDDR and its indoors...didn't care for that part. Also the corny humor was not our cup of tea....it sort of reminded me of Hee Haw (if any here remembers that show from the early 70's..LOL)...we'll stick to the SoA show...
