As a spin-off from the hug thread, who do you physically tell that you love them?

For me it’s my husband, kids, Mum. I also tell my sisters and their children alongside my two best friends (that I have had for 49yrs) that “I love ya” every time I see them.

My husband, daughters, granddaughter, future grandson-in-law every day; granddaughter, grandson, and best friends whenever I see or talk to them. Events in my life have taught me that life can be over in a second, so I want my loved ones to know that they are loved and cherished every moment they are with me.

All the people I love. Some of my loved ones do not live close and I end my phone calls to them with I love you. I try not to text when I can call, I learned the hard way that talking to them instead of texting would have been more meaningful. You always think you'll talk soon or see them soon, but in a moment they are gone. Hugs when I can and I love you when I cannot!

My husband, my Sister, her family and other family members. Sadly both DH and my Parents have passed. As did just recently a very close friend for almost 40 years.

Verbally, at home - DH, DS, and the cats, and when signing off on regular phone calls - my dad, my brother, and my niece.

But if "saying" it in writing counts, lots of friends and family - I tend to sign cards "Love, xxxx"
