I was recently told by someone at "internal reservations" at the Dolphin that the $99 birthday rate will end at the end of 2002. Has anyone been told different? Also, can I switch my American Express reward points to Starwood points without actually having a "Starwood American Express"? Has anyone booked the Dolphin before or after a 7 day cruise for a $99 rate? What kind of annual pass rate is usually available for June/July at S/D? Just being cheap!

We have usually found the AP rate was between $120-150 per night. Don't know about the birthday rates...
