For those of you going to DW in December, but returning before Christmas... Will you put up your Christmas tree before you leave? Are you planning on having all of your presents wrapped before you leave? I'd like to buy alot of our Christmas presents at Disney, but I'll be scrambling to wrap and finish up last minute purchases. We said we were going to cut way back on presents this year since we're going to Disney, but it's easier said than done!

I'm thinking we'll probably get it once we come home (as we have a real tree), but we don't have kids.

Hedy,
It looks like you'll be there exact time we are! Dec 9-15 for us. How cool for you to be taking a solo trip! Have a great time!

I always put my tree up the day after Thanksgiving so I can enjoy it all December. It also comes down on the first of January!

We went to WDW last year right before Christmas and I had done all my shopping and had everything wrapped and hidden. I had to do Christmas the day after we got back because my son was going with his dad on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so I had to be ready. There were a couple of things that I did buy at Disney and I just put those in a bag with tissue - easy way to wrap!

Also we had a small Disney tree that lights up in our room at the hotel and Tinkerbell left gifts for my son each night in a personalized Disney stocking that she left on his bed our first night at WDW. Somehow she knew exactly what our plans were and left him corresponding gifts. :goodvibes

We're going December 4-14. I'm going to put my tree up the day after Thanksgiving. I probably won't do my wrapping until the weekend before Christmas (I'm divorced and my son goes to his father's so it will work out well). As my son is 10, we're going with one big present and I will probably pick up some cute smaller items from Disney! Also, I will probably pick up something nice for each of my parents and my brother and his girlfriend, because we are all going to WDW together.

I can be sneaky and see what everyone admires! :goodvibes

Thanks! I'm such a planner. Can't believe I'm already thinking about when to put up a Christmas tree! I love the stocking/Tinkerbell idea. We will be celebrating my daughter's 2nd bday while we're there, and my son who will be 6 is a tad jelous. This is a good idea to make it more magical for him too!

:santa: We always decorate on Black Friday, so last year when we went to Disney the second week of Dec everything was decorated & wrapped for when we got home. We did buy some presents while at WDW, so we wrapped them when we got home. It was bad cause everything else was already wrapped. I don't think I'd ever go to WDW the second week of Dec again, though. The Christmas season is my favorite time of year & I kinda felt like it flew buy being gone the week before, even though we were at WDW with the decorations. Next time I'll go the first week of Dec. :santa:
