Hi all. If anyone has had a recent stay booked at Cypress Pointe through Alpharooms, can you please tell me when you arrived, were you assigned to the Cypress Pointe half of the complex by the pool with the slide or the Cypress Pointe Grand Villas across the parking lot? And did check-in, etc. go smoothly? Thanks so much for any updates and/or any updates on other places booked through alpharooms. We've stayed at CPGV before but this is our first time booking through alpharooms. Thanks!

The unit assignment is made on the day of arrival but the resort - CPR (Cypress Pointe Resort, Phase1 the one that includes the Clubhouse and Volcano pool) or CPGV (Cypress Pointe Grande Villas, Phase 2 the one with the 4 and 5 story buildings, mini-golf, two pools) is set at the time you make the reservation. Alpharooms knows which resort it is and should show that information. They are two independent (for booking purposes) resorts and you cannot switch between them. They do share all common areas so for use it doesn't matter which one you are staying at. Only the units are separate.

Thanks for your reply. That's actually the confusing part: my confirmation says Cypress Pointe Resort & Grandvillas. Past confirmations from sources other than alpharooms specifically said Cypress Pointe Resort OR Cypress Pointe Grandvillas. Perhaps I'll email them.

Thats Grande Villas. (there are a number of spellings). If it was CPR that would be the only name given.
