I have a very interesting question, and it seems like most people on this board are very smart.

My DS and I are leaving next Sunday for our 4 day on the Wonder

We are leaving at 6 am, which means we need to be at the airport at 4 am, my question is:

Does my son have to be with my at the airlines check in counter with me?

We only live about 10 mins from the airport and I thought that I would let him sleep in a little if possible. NOTE: he would not be at home alone, just in case some one got the wrong idea.

:listen:

Any advice??

Call the airline, but I think everyone has to be present.

I think youd be better off contacting the airline with this type of Q.....I think it depends also on the type of ticket you have i.e an e-ticket.....

Our airline can not check anyone in without them Present at the counter.. Including infants, so I am sure that is the rule...especially post 9-11..

Enjoy your cruise.. :sunny:

Thanks for all the replies.

I pretty much thought that he had to be present.

I was hoping that he would be able to sleep in a little considering I think that he going to be like the child on the commerical..

"I can't sleep I'm too excited!!!!!!!!!!!"

Just realized you are also Canadian. Keep in mind also that you are crossing the border that AM. Here once we check-in we clear customs Immediately, and are Officialy in the US. SO check ahead and make sure 2 hours is enough.. Obviously I have no idea what airport you are leaving from, but ours that would never be enough time to make it. THe flight is closed 1 hour before departure time......

Sorry for blabbing on and on... :guilty:
