OK, I was just looking at allears.net and saw that Pleasure Island has no admission cost now. With our HM package we got an Ultimate PH that includes Pleasure Island. There are prices/cover charges for their clubs listed on allears. With our UPH do we have to pay cover charges or is that taken care of? Is entrance to the clubs considered Hard Ticket? I'm so confused now--before the price was for admission, and then was discounted if you ate at one of the restaurants.
I apologize if this is a stupid question, but the last time I was at WDW I was 8--so you can imagine how much I worried about money then:)
Thanks!

With your UPH, admission to PI is included, and this includes all of the clubs. Instead of paying at the front gate you have to pay at the entrance of the club (or show your ticket). But the fee still includes all of the clubs. It is just a logistical change- does that make sense?

To further clarify, there is no longer a charge just to get on the island. So anyone can walk the streets and go into the shops. But if you want to go into the clubs you still have to pay for that. You just pay for it as you enter the first club (one price still covers all) instead of as you walk on the island. So your UPH will still include your cover charge to all the clubs just like before.

If you don't have UPH how much does it cost to get into each club? Can you return to a club the same night without having to pay again?

T&B

The price is like 16 or 17 a night now. You get a wristband upon entering (and paying) at the first club of your choice. You can then come and go among the clubs for the evening.

IS there still a discount on admission to clubs if you have dinner at a DTD restaurants?

Thanks,

Did the admission to PI used to be higher?

Yes, up until a few weeks ago it was (I think) 21.95. You could then pay 5 extra dollars for 5 more consecutive nights of visiting. Annual Passes are like 54.95.

As far as the discounts if you eat at a DTD restaurant, I never knew that was an option before, so I can't speak to whether or not that still exists. My guess is with the new open gate policy to get on the island and the lower regular price, you won't see those other discounts (like the 5 for $5), but that's just my guess. I do know that I received a letter from someone in charge of the DTD AP program who stated they would be experimenting with different pricing plans, so who knows what will be permanent.
