We just got back from our first trip (a landand sea vacation for 2 adults and 2 children) and absolutely LOVED it. Talking about going again in 2 yrs. before the kids turn 10.The thing is our family is expanding by 1 adult and 2 children this month (my sister's getting blended). That really ups the cost of an onsite vacation (really loved staying onsite).
We have a relative who lives less then 2hrs from WDW. I was considering buying an used RV in Florida and parking it at her place. We'd then take it to Fort Wilderness for the wdw leg of our trip (I love camping anyway) and continue onto the Cruise from there.

My question is there Parking for RV's at the Port? How secure is it and what's the cost?
We had ME this trip and I was looking at the Wonder when our bus pulled in and not the Parking Lots :rotfl: .
