RV Parking at port Canaveral

Does anyone have personal experience with parking an RV at the port. I know they say they have RV parking.. But I also know there are new garages going up (full disclosure, we're actually going on NCL, but still, same port) so lots of surface lot area is going away.. If you've done an RV, did you have any issues getting in and out, was it a pain to find a spot.. Did they direct you, or were you kind of on your own etc etc. Just trying to plan ahead, because will be first time doing this.. Wont be towing a car so dont have to worry about that.

Any personal experience would be great!!

extra points if you've ever parked at Port of Miami also.. We're leaving there in Feb .

They will always have a place for oversized. Since you will be in Miami and a different line and Disney left Miami for its new Fort Lauderdale facility things might have changed. But they will have some place for you. I’d call your cruise line and ask to be sure.

Nobody drives an RV?

When you posted this question, I watched a video about parking at Terminal 10 at PC. They are building a new garage, but I don’t think they are taking space of the surface lot where RVs park. You may be using Terminal 5.

I would not expect anyone there to help you. If there is someone at a payment kiosk, it might be considered overstaffed. If you get help, consider it a bonus.

If you don’t have the option to pay on the way in (we did pay upfront at the DCL garage in the past), you will want to keep your ticket to pay at a machine on your way off the boat at the end. Or you might be doing some backtracking. (I got this info from the video I watched. Procedures are subject to change).
