This one's for you!!

This is a pic my folks took at a Bears game back in the mid-80s

Nice! That's not you being lifted up to greet Mr. Payton, is it? :rotfl2:

Just kidding. I can't imagine fans getting that close to the players in this day and age.

Hey, I think I see Buddy Ryan in the background! :woohoo:

I don't think that's a fan, I think at the time mom had said it was his wife and son

His daughter is a spokesperson for organ donation in Illinois at least, maybe on a national level.

Mark, I'm sorry to do this to your Trip Report thread but since Dave had to go all "Notre Dame fan" on us, I just felt the need to share this link...

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Approved!

Oh, ok. That makes sense. Very, very sweet picture. And that's a wonderful work his daughter is doing, too. :goodvibes

I had to make sure everyone else was on board with it, though. First, I went to Julie:
Me: "You know, we will be driving near Canton, Ohio..."
Julie: "We're stopping at the Football Hall of Fame, right? We'd better be stopping there!"

He's not lying! This actually happened!

The Budget Committee has yet to approve new uniforms.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl2: You're funny. :rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl:

While in line for the movie, a group of teens wearing high school jerseys got in line behind us. We think they must have come straight from practice, because that group had the worst body odor we've ever encountered. :faint:

It was really, REALLY, REALLY bad.

When they opened the theater doors, I guided the family to a row that was already partially filled so that we wouldn't have to sit next to them.

You are so smart! You are so smart! S-M-R-T...I mean S-M-A-R-T....

Coming Up Next: Overcast with 60% chance of showers. Time to hit the beach!

Was it really 60%? I thought it was 40%....

Ours were found in bargain bins and clearance racks at the end of football season, or obtained for a good deal on eBay. :thumbsup2

'Cause someone's a good shopper!

That's ok. Nobody's perfect. Julie still doesn't "get" Monty Python and the Holy Grail. :confused3

Sigh.....maybe when you start scrappin' with me....

Like I said, I started her early, before she knew better. I have video somewhere of Sarah at 18 months, demonstrating all of the referee's penalty signals. :thumbsup2 Julie went to a bridal shower on a weekend and left me alone with her, and by the time she came back she had 7 or 8 signals down.

Sadly, I think Sarah knew the signals better back then than she does now. :headache:

This is really, REALLY cute. (Mark you should post the video of her doing her touchdown dance...) And sadly, because she was the first, she also knew them the best. By the time Scott came around, we were lucky if he knew what a football was!

I just realized We will be in Disney for race weekend. :yay: What better place to avoid the crowds and traffic in Dover.

You are so smart! You are so smart! S-M-R-T...I mean S-M-A-R-T....
I'd rather be in Disney than Dover any day!

That's ridiculous. It's completely reasonable for a woman to expect a man to answer questions and even have a conversation during a football game.

As long as it's during commercials. :rotfl:

Hey I am OK with that. Perfectly reasonable. :lmao:

I used to like football somewhat until the great Thanksgiving incident of ..... oh 1987 or 88. Then I hated it and what it did to perfectly respectful men when there is a TV with football on in the room.

I am willing to reconsider though. I can only hold a grudge so long. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Hey Captain, Poolrat Pat just posted an update with ToT in it.....it's got a great picture of the view out over the park that you can see during the ride. I think you'd like it. :rolleyes1

This could be a problem with the new NFL Red Zone channel. 7 hours of football, no commercials. They switch between games whenever a team gets close to scoring. One reporter described it as "watching football while God holds the remote control." :rotfl2:

:headache: Laugh it up, fuzzballs.

I thought the picture was great! It's not the height that bothers me. Plummeting towards the earth is the problem.

:woohoo::cool1::banana: That's the best race-weekend avoidance plan ever!

I guess you saw the new interchange that opened at N. Frederica? I worked on the project.

Last years trip was planned that way. This years trip was just lucky coincidence.:thumbsup2

New interchange in Frederica:confused3. I don't get out much or maybe just didn't notice :rolleyes1 I'm sure you did a great job :thumbsup2 Rumor has it that I am kinda of clueless to my surroundings...at least that's what DH says.:upsidedow

:lmao::rotfl2: That's ok. I figured it was somewhat close to you so you might have seen it.

I hope that does not mean you are sitting on the couch in a diaper. :rotfl2:

Think of it as falling with style.
