Your "barb" was implying that Rush is lying; thus you were making a "judgement" on his honesty and integrity. You have no idea about Rush's sobriety level for the past year or two. But you "judged" his assertion of sobriety by implying he has been less than honest about it.

This is a man that nails others for not being moral enough, so yeah, he's going to get called on it.

And trust me, I do think the comments have been funny, as is this whole situtation. Doesn't change the fact that this man will likely go back to pretending to be better than that after being caught once again in another big fat lie.

will Dawn publicly apologize for attacking those posters who correctly pointed out Rush's hypocrisy in the last Rush thread?

The hypocrisy that I find most notable, is the hypocrisy of those who talk about the brave battle against drug addiction on the part of anyone not conservative.
Since he was detained and released I am afraid that you will indeed suffer some disappointment that narcotics weren't found. While being in possession of Viagra provides the opportunity for amusing conversation, its hardly more than that. Perhaps you could post your perscription drugs on this thread and we can decide if we want to giggle or not.

It seems like a real prescription (according to the lawyer) - but I would think that given his brush with the law, he would actively make sure that every prescription would have all the proper information. IMHO it was just plain arrogant that he would think that having prescriptions not labeled with his name would fly under the radar. Rush could have avoided the intrusion by assuring that his prescriptions were labeled properly.

Lipitor, 20mg a day, for cholesterol. While my parents were good to me, this is one genetic gift I could have done without. Giggle away.

But Rush and I are more than a little different. I don't need erectile help for sexual relations with my third wife (and we're assuming there's no one else) when I'm not ranting on the air championing "conservative values" (including jail for drug users) while under probation for massive abuse of narcotic strength prescription drugs.

Under those circumstances, it's easy to have assumed that he's fallen off the wagon again. That's why I put not just one, but two cautionary disclaimers in my original post, Dawn. It would have been nice if you had reprinted my post in full rather than selectively edit it to distort the tone, but at least you didn't disappoint the readers who see your political posts as a never-ending source of unintentional humor by doing something out of character.

You asked me to do something, and I did it. Now it's your turn. What are your prescriptions? Please list them all, why you take them, and what the dosages are. After all, fair is fair, right?
