It obvious to me that someone or several people had to trip over their own shoe laces to get this to the press before Rush probably even pulled into his own driveway. It was a blatant violation of privacy, I believe it was intentional and malicious.

Wait a minute, Rush invites the media into his life, as he's a public figure. There's certain amounts of privacy he gives up, since he's given the opportunity to talk out of his a$$ every day. So you think it's malicious that it was "leaked" yet you see no malicious intent in some of the things he says.

Its a descriptive term used to portray the preditory nature of the drive by media and hardly compares with John Murtha saying that our presence in Iraq is more dangerous than North Korea and Iran having nukes.

On a side note - The State of Florida allows prescriptions to be written to a / the Doctor to protect to privacy of the individual whom the RX was written.

All his RX info was correct (DR had records of whom this was to be in the posession of)

Although imaging Rush getting his freak on does nothing for me, it's none of my business what-so-ever, at all and should NOT have been leaked to the press as it was. No charges were brought against him - what *exactly* was the point.

And it also violates HIPAA regulations - which was imposed during everyone's favorite "Get'n his freak on" President, Bill Clinton. By idea of his "lovely" wife. **gag**

This thread is not about Rush. It's about what he stands for. Everything else is a smoke screen. If he's an insignificant slob, then why are folks so passionate about him? Because he pushes thier buttons! (he's a radio host...that's his job) He's not an elected official, and he does not speak for the majority of the right any more than Jon Stewart and Bill Maher speak for all lefties. Most Americans are in the middle.

It's the fringe that gets a little strange.

It looks like this charge is bogus, and the story is really nothing. So go after him for something else!

The things that Rush comments on are in the public domain. He is not revealing anything for "the first time". He comments on the news. He discusses events and opinions that are "out there". So yes, I do think that public officials, be they customs or the DA's office that leak private, medical information when there ar no charges, no violation of the law or there is an on going investigation on whatever they dream up, are malicious.

Frankly I don't think the issue of premarital sex for 55 year olds is the burning issue for conservatives that you think it is. That concern is usually reserved for teenagers.

After spending some "quality time" with a few Dominican prostitutes, the real "burning issue" is what 'ol Rush is going to find when he pees in about a month or so...

After all, Osama has multiple wives and numerous physical problems. He might easily be hooked on some form of Viagra/OxyContin.
