WISH ladies...

Just wanted to let you know that I'm attempting to get a discount code w/ runningskirt.com again since there are quite a few of us doing upcoming Disney events and we may NEED a new running skirt!

I think it went well back in April when we ordered from them.

If anyone would like to provide feedback on their skirts, I would love to hear it!

OK...I just heard back and they said they had been in contact w/ someone one...not sure if it is our group or not, but we can use the discount code disney08 until Aug 31 for a 20% discount...

runningskirts.com's runnings skirts rock! I love them, and can't run in anything else! Everyone should get one or three...or 5...

They are cool and comfy, and come in cute colors.

My only suggestion is to not put anything heavy in the pockets, because it will pull your skirt down (be sure to wear coordinating undies ). Wear a belt to hold your phone and keys. Gels work well in the pockets.

I've been wanting one of these! So how is the fit - I know they have the sizing charts, but do you find that they fit pretty much as you expect?

And do you recommend the running skirt or the athletic one? I'm definitely leaning toward the athletic, the compression shorts are WAY more my style. But I do love that Minnie print! Hmmmm.......

they are pretty true to size. I wear a 6, so the 4-6 is what I get. Different colors fit differently, though.

I like the running skirt style with the briefs. All shorts ride up on me, so the briefs are nice! LOL!

I'm with ya on the "need" part! I really like my athletic. I've got the mini dot too and I wore compression shorts under for Minnie Marathon. I just have not been able to cross to the almost commando side.

How do these skirts compare to Skirt Sports? I have one of those - it's pretty comfortable (although I've never run more than a 5k wearing it). Does anyone know if they sell these at the Disney expos? I hate to buy something online without having the opportunity to try it on.

Thanks Stacie! I love, love, love my running skirts! Have the athletic style and have done training thru a half in them. I've put gels, keys, phone in the pockets and never had any problems. Now with a discount I just "have" to order another in a diff color.

your pearl doesn't pull down the waistband of your skirt? mine totally does!

Cryssi, in the Minnie dot one the Blackberry is too heavy but in the regular ones the fabric for the briefs is a little "stiffer" for lack of a better word, and it does not pull down. All my skirts are a 4/6 (I think) but I could have gone down a size in the Minnie.

No, the Blackberry does not pull down my pockets, it just makes me look REALLY wide through the hips. There is another picture that is super distorted and....OMG...

I wanted to order the Athletic Skirt - could not figure out where to put the disney08 discount code - how to process with my credit card, etc

So I emailed and was told to put the code in when asked where I heard about them. The discount is taken at the end.

They will be at the Marine Expo - Not sure yet about the Detroit Expo in October.

must just be me, then. lol. My blackberry pulls down all my skirts! It's ok, though, because I'm used to running with a belt now.

btw, my loosest skirts are the minnie and the allpink. tightest is black/gold. weird!

Just a warning.

I ordered two skirts a few weeks ago. I lost my Navy one that I loved!

Hmm... both of these are going back this weekend. I had the "athletic" with the comperssion shorts.

I had to settle for colors I didn't really want since they didn't have either blue or black.

I got them and ... the fabric has changed. A LOT! I don't like the new fabric at ALL. It's cheaper feeling and not as comfortable IMHO.

So any other suggestions?

Carol, I'm sorry about the change of fabric. I really like the one I have. I guess I'll have to take extra special care of it now that it is not to be replaced. My runningskirts.com was by far a more favorite skirt of mine. Soft, lovey...it is a sad day.

I've not tried skirts from skirt goddess...I wonder if anyone has? These seem like they may be ok.

I searched for other womens skirts and found this site too for skirtsports.com I have theirs too, but really is not exactly a favorite. I guess it may have to do.

Then there are the Nike brand. I've got one and seems to run a bit on the bigger size--some weeks that is a good thing.

Wonder what else is out there.
