ok, im a brand new W.I.S.H. member and just cant believe how active you guys are on this board... wow, going to be a challenge in itself keeping up here!
my marathon plans include:
walking the Minnie
walking the full Chicago (Oct 08)
run/walking the full Disney (Jan 09)
ive lost 150 pounds thanks to lap band and intense exercising, had an abdominalplasty the end of Feb and am finally cleared by my surgeon to start exercising again.
i started last week on the treadmill and today i had my 'long' walk this morning outside and what an incredible difference! i didnt get the shin pain like i did at mile 2.5 on the treadmill, i went just a hair under 6 miles (5.73 + .25 for calibration of Nike+).
i look forward to meeting many of you at the Minnie!
