Hey everyone!

I am looking to do a solo run on the St. Thomas day on my upcoming eastern Caribbean. I am really bummed I just found Active Island Tours now, 3 years after closing (guided 5k run through historic sites). I have never been to St. Thomas before.

Has anyone run there before? Do you recommend it on the streets there? Would only look to do 5-10k, nothing crazy. Are there any tours that have popped up that do something like this?

Thanks!

I have walked from the cruise port into town - it takes about 30 min and there is a lot of construction going on widening the roads and paths right now. So when that is finished, it might be a nice run.

In general the roads are pretty narrow and they drive on the other side of the road, so I would try to find a park to run. Also, in town, once you get away from the water, it gets very steep.

Yes! I ran from the havensight docks to the crown bay docks and back. It is a pretty easy run, once you get to the far side of Charlotte Amalie you lose sight of the water. It's about 5k one direction. Did not have any safety concerns as a 30+ aged Male. Consider taking some water though!
