Running Costumes for TOT

All this talk about running in full costumes, has me wanting to wear a costume for the upcoming TOT race.

The costume that I'm trying to come up with requires a custom running tank. I have the tank but need a graphic printed on the front. Has anyone had much luck at iron-ons on tech shirts? I'm afraid that when I go to iron on the logo it will melt the tank. Also, does anyone recommend a company to go through for the custom iron-ons?

Not sure how the tech will do with being ironed, but its worth a try! I would check Etsy for custom iron ons. There are some fabulous running costumes on there with some at reasonable prices.

As a side note: fabric glue and tech fabric are NOT friends.

Has everyone made final decisions on what their costumes will be? Princesses? Tinkerbell? other Disney characters?

I used custom iron ons for some long sleeved tech shirts a couple of years ago, it worked great and did not melt the shirt, however I used white transfers on a red shirt, so they white became pinkish, it picked up some of the shirt color!

I might do French Maid Princess this year, it's one I designed. It was supposed to be for Halloween but it was too small when made, so had to get it altered, so it hasn't made its running debut yet.

I'm doing ToT as the Cheshire Cat! I got a tail and ears for $10 on Amazon and a matching pink shirt and knee socks from Target and I'll make a no-sew tutu. I'm planning on bag checking my Raw Threads Cheshire cat shirt to wear after the race. I'm really excited for it!

And I will be adding battery powered lights to the tutu!
