Is anyone else doing this program? I'm on stage 4 and am so impressed with how easy it is to follow. I'm a little nervous about the next stage though.

I'd love to take a look at this too! I've finished couch to 5k but I've been a bit lazy since and need something to motivate me to keep running 2 or 3 times a week!

I ordered the book from Runner's World about 2 1/2 weeks ago and have been patiently waiting for it to arrive :) Currently, I am up to about 4-5 miles running and am in training for a 1/2 marathon :)

You guys have got me curious, just placed a "hold" on it to get it from the library... thanks for the info! I ran 2 5Ks in the Spring but have slacked off in the last 2 months. Need some new motivation, hoping this helps! :thumbsup2

downloaded this to my Kindle last night. Planning to start after next week's move. I think I'll get enough exercise btw now and then packing and moving boxes. :lmao:

Halfway through week 1 and even though it seems easy I'm resisting the temptation to jump ahead. Better to start slow and easy and not end up being injured.

Went to a running shoe store and actually got fitted for the right shoes! They videotaped me jogging on a treadmill to see how I landed and discovered that I was an overpronator. I walked out with a pair of New Balance 860's that feel just great!

Just moved to Texas, I miss my runners world, hopefully it shows up soon

I just got the book last night. I will be starting the program this week. I have never been a runner so I am a little freaked out! I am such a wimp when it comes to running, but I really need to try something new. I'm hoping that by taking it slow I will learn to love running.

I started week 2 today and it was tougher but I did it and finished with a smile on my face.

I just got the book and read the first chapter. I have been running and doing weight watchers for about 9 months now, but I am ready to try something different. Good Luck!
