RunDisney early registration and Resale purchase

I tried searching and looking at the DVC website but could not seem to find a clear answer. Is the runDisney early registration considered part of the 'Membership Extras' and only available to direct purchase members?

On the DVC member website you should see the heading for "My DVC Membership" and within that tab under "Member Benefits & More" you will find the link for early runDisney registration. As a direct purchase member I cannot confirm if it's open to indirect purchase members as well. I have used the link to early registration for runDisney events numerous times.

It's just a link from the website so I'm sure it's included.

If you purchased after the April 2016 date it is likely not included. You might be able to get the link and go through the registration, but i guess it is possible that if they were to check your date of ownership they could cancel if you bought resale after they put the new restrictions in place. As a resale buyer myself (prior to recent changes) I have been able to register early for the races.
