Run Now! It’s Wine 0’Clock in WDW…Cupcakes Gone W&D16

Awww, thank you my friend!

And I love your pages! Maybe I should start doing digital pages. Because Lord knows I have 2 paper pages books that are unfinished!

I love these pages! You definitely captured the Frozen part of the Frozen 5K (I still haven't entirely forgiven Elsa for that one, and I ran a rain-soaked 10K in January!)
I think the AKL page is my favorite ... that background is perfect!

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE your pages!!

love the pages!!!!! My digital pages look awful compared to yours.

AHHH...thank you. Although my pages are not nearly as incredible as some that I see! I love digital...I use a very simple program (someday I will get fancy and try adobe photoshop but for now simple is where it is at). I am really trying to get the PHM album DONE! Let's not even talk about family albums & kids albums and how far behind I am on those!

At the Italy booth - I find it a good sober up place with the pasta!

Our first selection was Italy where my husband and I split the Ravioli. We picked this dish as we were going to attend the mixology seminar at 6:00PM and were going to pick items that we knew would soak up alcohol well. This was a good choice! The ravioli wasn't overcooked and the sauce had a decent flavor to it.

Ravioli alla Caprese: Cheese Ravioli, Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Parmesan & Basil

I know this is sacrilegious, but ... I'm not a big gelato person. So I'll probably skip that.
I am, however, a big pizza fan, so ... I'm sure I'll find something to eat. Probably something that will make my cholesterol unhappy. But I'll get some sort of salad to go with it so it'll be all good.

Germany... me thinks I will sip on some sweet tea with Ryan:drinking1. Grapefruit beer. I. JUST. CAN"T. IMAGINE. The digital scrapbook pages look amazing, Tammie. Yay, Italy yum,yum ,yummy. I know I am breaking every punctuation rule I use to know way back when I knew. So first off I love gelato as it is a heavy cream and more milk fat so I can have small amounts of gelato. I have dairy sensitivities so that would have to be a post race indulgence. SO pass me one those Espresso Gelato "Affogato" . Then I will take pizza and I too am not picky on my toppings as long as it is hot. Italy looks real promising and like a food coma will proceed.

Ok, hazelnut gelato is my favorite!!!! Trattoria al Forno has some, or at least they did the last time I had dessert there. I didn't have any Princess weekend. But if there is hazelnut gelato to be had, in any way, shape or form, I will be indulging in it!

I LOVE pizza! It is literally my most favorite thing ever. I could eat pizza every day...I think! I think the night before the half I'll keep it simple with a traditional pepperoni pizza. I'll let Jan flirt with the cute Italian boys! ;)

Finally Italy! I'll take a pepperoni pizza and some gelato please! Lol

Now we are talking!

Now that is totally a good idea...

Now you are making me rethink my choices with this picture...I am not a huge ravioli fan simply because most end up tasting like they came from a can! This one looks so yummy!

I know this is sacrilegious, but ... I'm not a big gelato person. So I'll probably skip that.

You just reminded me that I need to add all the tummy things to my packing list...I think we will need them.

Oh you are so trying that grapefruit beer...I hate beer but I am curious. We can split one. You and your espresso coffee things. NO WONDER WHY I CALL YOU KAH-FEE! It fits!

YAY another hazelhut fan and a non picky pizza person...you dont have to flirt...just admire them! Yep thats my story and I am sticking to it!

It’s 5 O’clock Friday
in Italy

ONLY 29 MORE FRIDAYS!

In order to pass the time away, instead of Cupcake Friday’s we are going to take a look at cocktails around the world…since we are partly fueled by cocktails. Maybe we can find them a little more readily then the cupcake disappointment we experienced on our PHM Cupcake Crawl! Following in line with Whet your Appetite Wednesday, let’s begin to focus on F&W and our Eat & Drink Crawl around the World that we are planning for Sunday after the race (Rules and Logistics to come later).

This Friday we are stumbling our way to a country where the language is VINO, AMORE and EYE-CANDY!

Italia where we know we are going to find a great glass of wine as a great pairing to our cute Italian boys.

So bartender since I don’t plan to chug chocolate this time…

Pour me somethin' tall an' strong;
Make it a OH NO THERE IS SO MUCH TO CHOSE
It's only half-past twelve but I don't care.
It's five o'clock somewhere.

Seriously there are so many cocktails on the Via Napoli menu that I need to try…rethinking that trying to be good for the half night before idea. I wonder how many glasses of water would it take to flush them out of my system before Sunday morning. Maybe we just need to make an ADR on Sunday at Via Napoli just for dessrt and cocktails!

Moscato Fior d’Arancio

schaumwein5-500x500.jpg

I love Moscato and I personally had a relationship with this wine/winery in Italy! Oh my, it is good!

I am disappointed that they do not do limoncello shots in Epcot or maybe we need to ask because that is pretty much a clear your palate end of meal standard in Italy. I love limoncello, so much that I brought it home as presents to friends.

Sicilian Sunset
vodka, orangecello, orange and pineapple juices over shaved ice

It looks as pretty as I am imagining it would taste, orangecello instead of lemon.

Tiramisu Martini
vanilla vodka, kahlua, Bailey's, espresso, cream, cocoa

Why eat your tiramisu when you can drink yours? And me the non coffee drinker is totally in love with this drink

What are you having? And guess what Ryan...you don't have to drink tea here!

I would be down for a limoncello shot. Mostly I think I would just drink wine in Italy though. There is never enough wine in my world!

And yes, I will admire the Italian boys...ain't nothing wrong with that!

Hahaha....would you even be surprised at what I would like? Tiramisu Martini. Boozy coffee masking as dessert:yay:. Only 29 more Fridays.

Uh yum yum yum on the tiramisu martini!!! I will take one(or 5) of those please!!:drinking:

Italian drinking ... this could be fun. I like sparkling, bubbly wines, so I'll take anything with prosecco. I'd probably go fairly basic with either a bellini or mimosa.
Although I might decide to be adventurous and go for the cannoli martini ... that sounds kinda fun.

Give me any type of Italian wine, but I am all over bellini and Italian margaritas! I just checked my DVC reservation for the race weekend and it said 199 days!

LOOK AT ALL THE BOOZING HAPPENING IN ITALY :drinking1:drinking1:drinking1 ...AND WE HAVE THE BRIGHT IDEA TO EAT THERE THE NIGHT BEFORE THE HALF....:scared1::scared1::scared1::faint::faint::faint:

Would I be a totally bad mom to admit that my children love limoncello shots? Okay...so we were in Italy and they served it to them after meals, pretty standard fare.

Hahaha....would you even be surprised at what I would like? Tiramisu Martini. Boozy coffee masking as dessert:yay:. Only 29 more Fridays.

Would you be shocked to know that I hate coffee but I love Tiramisu???

Yay!

I am having a gelato sandwich and a Primavera because that sounds good and its non-alcoholic.

My kind of sandwich...

Uh yum yum yum on the tiramisu martini!!! I will take one(or 5) of those please!!:drinking:

Make it a good even number...6

Italian Margaritas for me!

Oooo, I forgot about these! I've been wanting to try one actually!

Last one I had was too heavy on the Mexican side...give me more amaretto!

Sarah is not having a beer????

I totally forgot about the 199 day dance....:dancer::dancer::dancer::jumping1:

Sarah is not having a beer????

Here's a secret: I hated beer until about 7-8 years ago. Couldn't stand it. Then I tried something that wasn't made by Budweiser and I changed my mind.
But before I was a beer drinker, I was a wine drinker. Sometimes I'll step away from the beer and go for something else. I like to keep that element of surprise.

LEMON!! LEMON!!! LEMON everywhere!

I forgot to tell you Tammie- I found THE BEST lemon cupcake (FINALLY) in sunshine seasons in March! I will be returning for another (or two!) Hopefully they still have them.

Surprises can be fun...Keep them guessing. I have tried other beers but still have not found one that would make me drink more than a tiny microscopic taste...

LEMON!! LEMON!!! LEMON everywhere!

My lemon partner in crime...we must go find that cupcake! YUM
