Run Forest Run - yes again and this time I promise to finish

Somehow while I was taking these pictures and stopped for a bathroom break, we lost Debbie. . We split up and went from this spot to the park entrance and couldn't find her anywhere. And there was no way she would have went out through the gate without us....or would she. Yes she would! So we finally find her and get out to the parking lot and my terrible kids find this to play with.

Today it was back to Universal for a full day. We head straight for the new Harry Potter ride. Well we come to a spot where you get behind a marked area, get a ticket and get in line. We travel in this line for quite some time thinking we are getting into the ride. Nope! this is just the line to get into the Harry Potter area. Once you get in then you have to get to the line to line up for the ride. Now the ride was pretty cool. It went by a little too fast. You would almost need to do it a couple of more times just to take everything in.

We rode the hippogriff (not Darrin the Harry Potter ride made him sick)

Then we did Jurassic Park and Ripsaw Falls:

Then Darrin, Debbie and I did Doomsday Fearfall:

Then it was time for the Hulk:

Then Taylor and Debbie did Storm Force Excellerator:

Then we went our seperate ways. Nicole wanted to spend some time exploring Harry Potter so she went off on her own. She did the ride again and then did Duelling Dragons rollercoasater (all by herself) this is the girl who is scared of heights and therefore most rollercoaster. But this trip thankfully got her over that fear, I think.

The four of us did Disaster, where they make a movie about natural disasters. Well they ask for volunteers, someone who can scream. So I volunteered Debbie and she did it. So she got to be in a "movie" Then we finally got to ride Rip Ride Rocket

Then we did the Mummy a couple of time and then Popeyes Barge. Well it's kind of like Kali River Rapids only you get absolutely soaked. The water comes in the side like a tidal wave. So then we meet up with Nicole and take her on it. We did it three more times as there was no one there. Then we did ripsaw falls two more times and then headed out. We stopped for take out at Checkers on the way home and just took it back to the condo.

Loved all the Epcot pictures with you guys in the hats. Too funny. And that beach at Tampa looked amazing! Some day I have to get me to a beach in Florida.

After breakfast at the condo it's off to Magic Kingdom. I have another surprise planned for today. Will I pull it off or will Grumpy (Darrin) foil my plans. We took the ferry in.

We watched Mickey's Celebration in front of the castle and then did Space Mountain. Then Philharmagic, Peter Pan, which was a new one for us, Splash Mountain. We had lunch at Columbia Harbor House and then took in the parade.

At Columbia Harbour House, Debbie found herself yet another man.

He sang her a little song and then escorted us to our ordering line. While we went to get our food, Darrin decides he would run to Big Thunder to get us some fastpasses. He doesn't have a very good sense of direction and I was sure we would never see him again. But he made it back just after we sat down.
While waiting for the parade, Taylor got run over by a woman in a motorized scooter/wheelchair, apparantely she hit the throttle instead of the brake and ran right into the back of his legs. But he was OK. Then we did Haunted Mansion and then stopped for Dole Whips.

Then we took in Country Bear Jamboree (another first for us) and then used our Fastpasses for Big Thunder. Then I think we took the train to Mickey and Minnie's houses.

Then we went for a spin on the teacups and the kids and Darrin went for a ride in the Indy Cars while Debbie and I got off our feet for a bit.
Then we went on Pirates and decided to do Splash Mountain again. Well the line was quite long and didn't seem to be moving very fast. Well as you recall, I have another surprise planned and we need to be somewhere by a certain time. Finally, because I'm starting to panick, I tell them that I have another surprise but we have to be there at a certain time and we can either get out of the line now or stay and do Splash but we are gonna have to "Run Forest Run" all the way to the other side of the park. I know, I know I didn't think going to Splash Mountain out very well. What will we decide? Where are we going? Will Darrin complain enough to ruin it? And will we make it on time? Surprise! Surprise! Darrin doesn't even hestitate, he falls right into pace and we boot it across the park. And there was no hurry cause we had to wait in line maybe 1/2 an hour. But it was well worth it to see this:

And oh was it yummy. Especially the chocolate covered strawberries.

It was a fabulous surprise and everyone loved it. Would definately recommend it. Beautiful view of the fireworks and the castle.
