there are annual passes (which obviously expire every year)
and then there are seasonal passed (maybe that's only for FL residents??)

Those are the 2 passes that are good the longest time right? UNLESS you go for the regualr passes of say 10 days that have no expiration on them....

See we had this argument last night---my bro stating that his dr friend pays $4,000 for annual (I think he was saying annual) a year per adult---& I said YOU"RE DREAMING & then of course he said he wouldn't argue but I could call that Dr friend & ask him myself...I just laughed & said no way...I said the cruises he goes on every year probably run the $4,000 a person but not regualr ole passes into WDW.....

I"M here checking to see if I'm wrong & there is some other Deluxe pkg or extra special pkg that they could be buying that I don't know about....

Yes, the Seasonal Annual Passes are for Florida Residents only. Which they have black out dates (peak times & certain holidays) where the passholder can not use the card during those times, unless they decide to upgrade their seasonal pass to an annual pass and just pay the difference.

but there are different kinds of annual passes:

Pemium annual pass: allows you 365 days of unlimited park-hopping admission to all 4 disney world theme parks, plus 365 days of unlimited park-hopping admission to the both water parks, disney quest, and pleasure island.
This pass costs: $515 for adults

Annual pass: allows you 365 days of unlimited park-hopping admission to all 4 disney world theme parks. This pass costs: $395 for adults

Then there are other annual passes, which are selective passes:
Disney Quest-only; Water Park-only; and Pleasure Island-only

Maybe he paid $4,000 in total for some premium passes. even then he would have to have bought 8 adult passes at that price. Unless that is a package, like his room, tickets, etc. who knows , but it is definitely not just for the price of a ticket for one person, no matter what the time frame on it is.

The Premium Ann FL RES is $441 and change after tax. There is a "4" in the number, but at least one less zero.......
