Very cool pieces. I just logged into VMK and saw them before coming here. Now to figure out how many I want of each item and where I want them to go.

Seems like it would be much easier if they just let us purchase a dark room

But, then we wouldn't have to spend so many credits!


Light - Right now, it'll take 6,700 credits just to buy 1 of everything.
I will eventually buy at least 8 of everything. Just not today since I already spent 25,000 credits this weekend on hats and pins. lol

Do you suppose that maybe they took them away so that they could make them unisex. Does seem kind of harsh to take them away before some people could save for them

I don't think so. I think it's going to stay just the way it is.
I was looking at my inventory spreadsheet which has a few things that we've known about for a while but hasn't come out yet.

On Friday, I remembered that there were costume pieces that went with the hats.
Specifically for the girls, there is also Pirate Jacket, Pirate Jacket With Vest, Pirate Pants and Pirate Boots.

And for the hat with parrot there is also Pirate Jacket, Pirate Pants and Pirate Boots. While I believe that this costume started out as Unisex, I think they've decided to make it all boys only.

So, I think (I may be wrong) that they will release a piece for boys and a piece for girls every weekend this month.

It's going to be a very expensive month, boys and girls.

OH, yeah. That includes the 500 each for the long and short shrub walls, which we got tons of last weekend.

So, if you have plenty of those, take out 1000 credits. That'll leave 5,700 to buy 1 of everything.

The Marching cards take up alot of space. I tried several of my rooms and ended up using the football room. Just wish you didn't here the stadium noises when in there!

Retired In park quest card, the only way to get it now is try and trade for it but be prepared to trade alot

Lady Bear, thanks for doing all the math on this... 6700 for 1 of each? Whew! Well, we've had skim months, the last couple and lots of quests giving out free 200-300 credits each, so that's nice. Hopefully they'll keep doing that. And maybe they'll bring back double-credit Pirates again.

I think also Lady Bear you have a point about the costumes. That we'll get a piece each weekend. That's been the way they've done some costumes in the past, one piece each weekend... Of course they've also left them available all month so that's caught a lot of people unawares... Personally I like that they retire the pieces at the end of each weekend... Makes them more tradeable. I was only able to buy 6 hats, but those are going to be worth more than if I'd got 10 over the course of a month. It makes you remember that if it's under "Specials" - grab it while you can. LOL

Funny though that we get Alice ride pieces in Pirate month. Heh. That's VMK scheduling for you. I like the way the new pieces look. I still wonder what ALR stands for... "ALice Ride" maybe? Eh, doesn't matter I suppose. Has anyone checked to see if the Dark Room is on sale?

Did anyone notice that they only have one side of the Shrub arch for sale? It is the left side wonder what happen to the right? lol maybe more stuff is still coming?

The dark room walls are blank. These are a scene, more like a room divider. They will be especially nice to use in the dark room when (I'm being optomistic) it gets released.

I was thinking the same thing. That all the nice pieces we saw in Alice was for another time long away. I even traded away 25,000 credits to help a kid. Oh well at least he will have enoough for a nice alice room
